I got April off on the right foot
Exercise + yes
Tracking = yes
Budget = yesSpringtime - I got back to my old friend "The Road."
I feel like I got older this winter.
It took me a half hour longer to get to 2,000.
I couldn't descent in a straight shot either. Had to stop a couple of times to shake out my neck, shoulders and hands.
But hey, not to worry it is the first of the season or the first I been there in a while anyway.
Digging through my records, I am weird about record keeping. For March I am off about 5,000 from March of the previous two years.
I am still sore. That has me thinking about restrategizing my ambitions.
I seen a guy I ain't seen all winter. I park kind of near the bottom of his driveway.
He's a cranky old guy that I didn't like right off. But these days there is kind of a weird spiritual uptick when you see someone that is a good bit older than you back out in the Spring. He told me that he done a cruise to Greece and a river cruise up the Nile since I seen him last. Heh, my budget has bike riding in it.
That's alright.
I seen some bear sign on one of my side excursions. Bears can't really be up this early or up and stay up anyway. They can maybe turn over a rock or two, look for some grubs, then go back to bed. I hope they don't wake up hungry for bike riders.
Buddy is coming over tomorrow. I wish I could record his laughter and his antics and play it for people who get stressed out and depressed. There ain't no depression around that little guy. My funny little boy.8 -

RangerRickL wrote: »@HASWLRS Hi from Rick: No need to apologize!! I've been leading this group for close to 4 years. Between my asthma and my lumbar issues, some days, 20+ minutes of active stretching and/or 20+ minutes out for slow walk are what I can do.
There are others in the group for whom a slow day is over an hour of vigorous cardio and strength exercises.
We are on this team together for mutual accountability, inspiration, compassion, and camaraderie. We exercise based on what we each choose to do. We choose our own calorie limit. We eat our own food choices.
No worries and no comparisons!
Thanks for being on the UAC Team!
@RangerRickL, Hi from Lisa. Thank you for your kind words. Moving forward, I will not compare myself to others, only to my former self!!7 -

@RangerRickL Thank you for your kind words! I appreciate that you had faith in me even when I was worried. By going back to slow & steady life, I got back on track! Thank you!

Are you able to eat & drink enough water?
I’m sending you a gentle hug & a cup of delicious tea. If you can’t, perhaps trim your walk to 10 minutes. Rest is super important.
Have you discussed this with your doctor? Sometimes they can suggest n Mmm was replacements if you can’t eat.
Praying you are all better as ASAP!3 -
Thanks so much, @nodm! 💖 Hope you're feeling better very soon!!1

Thank you so much for the hug and the delicious cup of tea. I am able to drink some water but I don’t think it’s enough. I’ve been setting the timer every hour to remind myself to finish the 20 oz water bottle. It’s the calories I’m starting to worry about. Everything taste terrible. I started drinking ensure max for the calories. I think you’re right I better cut Down on waking. However it was not much anyway. It was just a very gentle stroll for 20. I’ll cut it down.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it my friend !!!!MadisonMolly2017 wrote: »Sorry I forgot to sign in. This is getting old!....
