Hey all!
I've done keto in the past with huge success! However life happened and I fell off the wagon and blah blah blah.
I've been sticking to low-ish carb for 3 and a half weeks now, between 30g-60g a day. The last few days I've noticed that my underarms stink. Badly. I don't recall noticing this previous times. I'm assuming it's a shift in my hormones, and that my age might have something to do with it (nearly 30, as opposed to 25). Has anyone else had bad BO brought on by this?
I'll go ask my doctor about it once the world calms down. This isn't urgent. But figured I'd ask here in case anyone had some advice?

I’ve noticed the keto breath but not BO except for possibly around my cycle - assuming you are female and it’s only been 3 weeks... could that have something to do with it?

I haven't noticed it, but i read several accounts over the years of people experiencing that. So its certainly possible that ketosis and you don't mix. You could give it some extra time to see if it goes away.

Sometimes things like this are tied to a woman's cycle. From the accounts I've heard over the years from keto-folk and my personal experience (I did keto in my mid-30s) if things are going to settle down, they will by your 3rd cycle. So hormone-related symptoms will start to chill (some people get extra skin breakouts and ragey moods) and the stink will subside.
