Rest Day yesterday. Pat started cleaning. I helped where I could. We'll be doing more today. I get to dust a zillion little shutter thingies on a zillion windows. ugh! Funny that I'm groaning about cleaning one of the reasons I love this house. :p

My Fitbit One died yesterday. I'm so sad. :'( But my Versa 2 is pretty great, and that makes me happy. :D Pat doesn't think there is a way to go back to the ebay seller, he'll investigate, tho.

I hope you all are doing okay. I need to see my grandson, daughter, SIL, and Bean close up so I can give hugs and kisses. I do need to start driving again. Another hiccup of this drug...Shelley would put me behind purple prison bars if she caught me driving on them. I need to get back to working out with my trainer. I've lost all my muscle. My skin is starting to look like old lady skin! egads! Unfortunately, I have lost all desire to workout by myself. Funny, when I look back at old journals and see the stuff I used to do...I know it was really someone else...not me. :o Nopey, nope. I need to start going into the grocery store again because the Curb Side Delivery isn't what I think it should be. I need a hair cut. I need a shower. :s

    I could go on but I won't. :#

Love you guys. <3 Stay safe.

Yesterday, we ran into the guy I rode with for two years from Antioch to Cal State Hayward (Cal State East Bay, now) while on our walk. He and I got our Master's in Public Administration together. I haven't seen Brian in a really, really long time. I didn't recognize him. He had a hat on and was walking w/his 13 year old son and their beautiful lab. As we passed them I said, "Beautiful puppy!" Brian said, "Thank you." We'd taken a few more steps and he said, "Chris?" It was so funny! He and his wife and son live close to us. Maybe we will all get together when this social distancing is over with. He was one of Nick's teachers.

Chris do get together with them. It is so sad when we drift away from friends. I am getting old ladies skin also. My dad had such thin skin at a young age. Guess I do also. :'( And no driving on funny pills. Nopey, nope, you already get motion sickness for Pete's sake! :p So what is it about curbside delivery you don't care for? I have not done it yet. I am sorry to hear you had another Fitbit die. Seems you just got it.

Karen thanks for the inspiration post. :) The bike ride not being tracked by my fitbit was bad enough. But then I forgot to wear it most of Saturday.

I decided to do some cleaning this weekend. Moved a fish and some coral into a larger home. The fish was hitting into the glass. It did not want to go into the net. Fast little Scotts fairy wrasse. I made a cake for work. It was chocolate, raspberry filled and topped with a creamy chocolate frosting. So much better to share it 14 ways! ;)

I feel so bad for all the medical staff and law enforcement that are struggling during this time. :'(

Sending good thought for your daughter tomorrow. Her surgery will go well.

Shelley, Wednesday I will either be taking only a half of the pill or none at all. We'll see. As far as curbside delivery goes, it's stuff like the yogurt I order is in a different part of the store. I'm certain when the clerk see what I'm ordering she/he doesn't find in the yogurt section, so I don't end up with it. The last order was missing my chicken. Two of the stores we go to have senior hours early in the day for two or three hours. I might try that on Thursday. Maybe there will be toilet paper and paper towels...who knows? It will be an adventure, and I'll have to wear a face mask!

Shelley - Hoping everything goes well for your daughter!

Trying to motivate myself for the workday here :-) these have been some particularly challenging times. My computer stopped syncing at about noon yesterday which is not helpful. And of course IT support is at a premium so I still don't have the ability to fully use it. I can work from my phone but that's not an easy thing. We'll have to do that until this gets figured out. Hoping today is a better day!

Thanks you two! She came through ok. Time will tell if it works.

Karen I hate computers most of the time. Hope they get it working right for you. I am trying to get motivated also. I have 10,000 steps in as I write. But I need to lift weights again.

Chris the senior times here were flooded at first. So many people showed up for it. Crazy. Do wear your mask. I think they help a person from spreading it more than catching it. But it is all a help.

Going to work with Barney tonight. Teaching him how to deal with anxiety. Seems to help him. I will try and do a little bit of lifting. Even if it is just 15 minutes tonight. Have a great evening everyone.

The main source of revenue in Half Moon Bay is tourism. Guess how that's doing...

Chris, you know finances: what happens when revenue is reduced? and what is the biggest source of expense, that's right, salaries... ugh.

It is beautiful outside, I'm gonna go sling some wood. Wanted to check in and say "Hi, all."

Shelley - I've been trying to lift more weight as well. So different not going to the gym and having all those machines and free weights. We only have a 3 pair of free weights here at home..3, 5 and 8lb. I've been searching online for about a month now and you can't get free weights to save your life around here. I've even checked all of the used websites. I did find one pair of 8 pound weights at Target and I ordered them. Should get those on Friday. My husband, Bella and I do weight routines together a few days a week. We're always fighting for the heavier weights and usually I lose :-) I'm probably the one who needs them more than anybody that with my hanging skin. They should be at the store for pickup by Friday.

We should all show up at Shelley's...we won't tell her we are coming...we'll take a cake with purple frosting that tastes like blueberries that has a deputy on the top with a purple gun...the cake baker will be thrilled to put the order together for us...she will be so surprised to see us...we will all scramble to her workout room to used her weights...for every bite of the purple blueberry cake with the deputy on top, we will do 10 kickbacks with 10 pound hand weights...what a party that will be!

    heheheheheh! :p

Bring it on Chris. I think I have 2 sets of 10 pound hand weights. So we are good. You 2 lift while I eat the purple cake! Oh yummy! Then we can all take a nice walk and chat, for hours.

Paula that is awful. We are all hoping for a return to normal soon.

Karen I used household items before I had weights. Milk mugs filled with water. Rocks and bricks even. And of course bodyweight exercises. Or you can do one arm at a time and double the weights up. So you are going to have 2 sets of 8 pound weights if I read you correctly. Bands are also good. Just glad to hear you are all moving together.

Speaking of purple Chris. I bought a purple stylophora coral. Can't wait for it to get here. I am in the market for a brain coral. Has a few different names also. Might have to save my comes for it first though. Now where is that purple cake?

I’m using YouTube videos on my smart TV to get going again as I’m still sheltering in place. Completed 2 mile Leslie Sansone walk at home and. 30 minute upper body toning video. I don’t remember the name. Time to get back with it!

4 arm exercises w/8 lbs, because my arms are weenies now, end of couch push ups and planks and 2x1 min on the bosu. So far I'm doing 2 sets of everything every other day. Will increase to 3 sets on Monday. Walking w/Pat 5 days a week. We are up to 2 miles a day.

    So Shelley,

You're gonna make me use milk jugs, huh? No way! I'll lift one doggie with one arm and one doggie with the other, that will work! I've seen our doggies, they're about the right size! :flowerforyou:

My weight has stopped increasing, hooray. Tracking food works but I hate it when it says no more whisky today.

Chris starting over at our ages is never an easy task. Yeah for 8 pounds.

Oh my Paula. That whisky is no good. Listen when it says no more. <3 How about whisky bottles for weights then sis? Inspirational for sure. But I like the idea of picking up doggies also. Might hurt their little bellies though. Must make some harnesses for them to sit in though. Congratulations on the weight stabilizing.

Karen keep going, I hate walking when it is 70 degrees though! Yuch.

So they are going to open the old courthouse on Monday. Let folks come in slowly if the need titles or tabs. Going to be interesting for sure. I drove to Montana on Sunday. Met my brother at a gas station in Butte. He brought our mother to me. It made for over 14 hours on the road. Now I have to be even more diligent about keeping my distance from other people. We have been very fortunate in having very low numbers of infected in Wyoming. Most were on the Indian reservation. Not near us. I am not even letting her hug me. Keeping my distance as best I can. We spend a lot of time outdoors visiting.

By now. It is Rockys 60th birthday and we can't have the kids over. :'(
