Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes - 30 minutes on exergame, but for the first time in a very LONG time it felt more like a "chore" than a "welcome escape" (I may be missing the evening walks while DH's ankle heals more than anticipated)
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? No (?) Subtracting what I had planned that I DIDN'T eat, and mentally adding the aprox "cost" of what I nibbled at ... most likely strayed into the Red.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? No - lack of appetite earlier in the day, and then nibbles in the evening

Encountered Leonard the Plumber like maybe 30 or so yards from the top.
Stopped and talked.
So much for making a timed climb.
Ehh, talking to chums I don't see but every now and then is cooler that obsessing over the time.5 -

Good job! @RangerRickL Long drives can be tough. Do you pre pack food? Any tips?2 -
@MadisonMolly2017 since I am almost 70 with asthma, I have been trying to avoid restaurants and convenience stores. We preplanned our meals for 2.5 days. It's on the boring repetitive side in that we are having multiple meals of turkey breast in sandwich size slices; whole wheat bread; sparkling water and lots of regular water; corn chips (I love corn chips...14 are 160 calories); apple slices; fresh carrots; almonds.
We have a small cooler that can hold about 5-6 pounds of cubed ice. That worked for all 3 days.2 -
@RangerRickL
Almost exactly what we pack! Apples check carrots check almonds check bread check
Sometimes fresh cooked boneless thin pork chops, sliced chicken. Was told to stay away from deli meats post Txplant but YUM.
And we replace corn chips (yum) with dark Scharfenberger chocolate.
We are not eating out or shopping ourselves. But in the past, we would stop & get nonfat decaf lattes.
I’ll also bring presaged berries, nonfat plain yogurt, kind cereal (pre-measured). I bring my food scale.1 -
@MadisonMolly2017 I am going to look up "presaged berries". I don't know what 'presaged' means.
Oh, I see it's 'premeasured". Oops!!
Thanks, Maddie!
