Yesterday, Rose and I took a 2 hour trip to a higher altitude with cooler temperatures. This is a view from a trail called the Rim Lake Vista Trail near Payson, Arizona15 -
Someone with playful initiative had built a swing from climbing rope and a hefty piece of deadfall.
Rose accepted the invitation to be a child again17 -
sunny - no snow on the ground when I got up (felt hopeful yesterday was a fluke) ... TWO snow squalls went past our windows before I finished my morning coffee!!!!! (where are the fountains of tears emojis when I need them?!?!)11

Added an extra 1 I'm to my run, making it 5k on Hills for my kidney donor athlete virtual event! It was tough, but I ran most of it and finished at just over 40 minutes. A tough day at work as I'm tired but then home for sushi and my dark Lindt bunny. Planned treat day so I allowed myself to use exercise calories which I usually don't do.
Going to sleep early as I still have 2 days of this shift left... At least food is planned and prepared for all meals of those 2 days!13 -

First pass being used. It was rough day yesterday. Woke up with major neck pain. I was going to allow a cheat day and just lay in bed covered in tiger balm and a heating padhoping to start fresh the next day.10

Saturday, 5/9
Tracking: Yes
Calories: under - just barely. We got takeout and I had to use most of my exercise calories. I don’t like depending on them but dinner was good.
Exercise: Yes, cycle - 35 minutes
Pass days to date - 09 -
I've missed a few days in the group. I've had some sort of virus which knocked me for 6. I'm just getting back on my feel again now while away I have had one pass day. I didnt log because of the illness and I had a fever and cant remember what I did lol. I'm sure i was under but no record = Pass. The other days have been easy to log and to keep below my target because I've felt so awful i had to force food down. I've managed to get exercise in... well my dog made me, being delirious is apparently not a good enough excuse for my Lab I couldn't go far but i was out for 20 or 30 minutes.
That was my second pass day so I have one left11 -

Yes, I exercised for at least 20 min.
I did an OrangeTheory workout in my bedroom!10 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, I took it easy today and walked around our yard for a bit checking to see which wildflowers are starting to bloom and spotted cute little orange ones blooming which made me smile! I also did some stretching this morning because my hip muscles were all sorts of angry with me this week.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes! I made myself a really nice bowl of oatmeal with raisins, apricots, peanut butter, egg white protein powder, inulin for extra fiber, sliced banana, and a splash of vanilla extract for my breakfast/lunch (I intermittent fast and have my first meal at 11). Dinner was a little more challenging to track calorie-wise but I did my best, it was buffalo chicken cutlets and "air fried" fries.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes!
1 pass day used.8 -

Exercise? 249/20 minutes; lugging paint cans, shopping and priming the master bedroom. Got a late start so won’t be finished with everything tomorrow. 🤷♀️
Logged everything.

Yes x3
Experimented this morning and made some egg-less pancakes which actually turned out well. (Egg-less not because I'm vegan but rather because we ran out of eggs and haven't been to the grocery store since March.) Cut the recipe in half to only make 3 pancakes total for my husband and me because I knew if I made more we would eat more. I paired it with a small amount of honey and some peach pieces my neighbor gave me.
Exercise was 55 min calisthenics.
Dinner was Blue Apron recipe for chicken with a garlic caper lemon topping with calabrian chili zucchini and orzo. Yum!10 -

@RangerRickL more beautiful photos, thanks for sharing them with us. I traveled through Arizona when I was ten years old. We drove through what my mother called a painted desert. I'll never forget the wide open spaces, very different from the thick woods here on the east coast. Your photos really capture that open space.
@alligatorob Looking like a king of old or a biker! I think everybody will be relieved to get haircuts. I know I need one, too.
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, about 465 minutes, some walking and hours of disinfecting the public areas of my workplace because of the virus. I was doing well last week with walking meditations but I've been easily distracted since then. Will keep trying.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? yes, well under

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? yes: 1-hour walk, at dusk again. Air quality getting better, and it's cooling off for the next week. I will have NO excuses to take a walk daily, now I need to follow through!

Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? yes, even those 8 skittles!5 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, chair videos, yoga, weights, foam rolling. I think I'm going to be stuck doing chair videos for quite a while, it's not completely resting my legs but I've modified a lot to use mostly arms and abs where I can. Tempted to just stay in bed tomorrow and see if it helps my calves heal but I'd go stir-crazy.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes. Still not sure why I'm getting Fitbit calories above where I set my calories but am staying in the middle of the two. I think I'm getting adjustments because it's
