I'm down 0.4 pounds this week. I'm still running a few pounds above my personal target weight, but am still well-below my official WW goal weight.

There is one overarching point that I probably need to appreciate a bit more: I've lost 10.8 pounds from Jan 1, 2020 to Jan 1, 2021. That, in and of itself, is clearly a victory, even if it's not exactly as low as I'd like it to be.

There are some big changes going on in the 0mania household, with the last of the kids going back to school after winter break early next week. That means that it will be much easier to control my environment. There will be less snacky-food around, and Mrs. 0mania will feel less compelled to cook the kids' favorite meals all of the time. I'm hoping with this change in environment that the activation energy will be lowered for me to work (back) off the last few pounds. Indeed, I may actually shoot to go a few pounds under my personal target to give myself a little buffer. In that way, the "pound-up/pound-down" daily fluctuations won't bug me as much.

Anyway, here's to a good beginning and rededication in 2021!

I'm down 0.8 but this doesn't reflect the almost flat line that I'm experiencing, my projected goal date is 2034!!!

On the bright side, if the bags under my eyes are any indication, I'd say im retaining water 🤷. My stomach has been "off" so I'm just not drinking as much these days.

AND I'm really tired of the long list of weeks I've been attempting to reach my next mini goal of another #10, for a total of #30. Maybe next week 🙂

Well, I'm down 2# since last week (here), and down 0.4# since the last "official" weigh-in. I'll take it :)

I'm up 6.4 lbs from last Friday. Over indulgent behavior plus some other extenuating circumstances.
I have some thinking and sorting out to do.

I'm up 0.8 pounds. I'm still struggling to get myself back into "the mode." I've got all sorts of excuses and rationalizations, but those aren't really helping me get back to my target weight. I'm still snacking too much at night, and having too many "just one glass"es of bourbon.

On a good note, I'm still exercising regularly, and my meals are generally very reasonable.

This week I have a "celebration" on Monday, so I will plan for a dessert and drink (or two, or three). Outside of that though, my plan is to stop snacks and alcohol, and just stick to my three meals a day and keep exercising.

    I'm down .2.

I'm happy with my eating for the week. I was more intuitive than tracking this week, but based on the meals I prepared this was ok. Almost no snacking. Headed to grocery later today and have a meal plan.

I've fallen behind in my goal to walk/move more. I was feeling great about that, so I need to re-commit. My goal this week is 30 minutes of continuous movement on at least five days.

My sleep got off schedule a couple weeks ago, and that wreaks havoc on everything. It hasn't negatively impacted my food choices (yet) but has definitely interfered with activity and mood. Goal for the week is to be back on schedule by mid-week. I wish it was an overnight fix.

    Have a great weekend!

Even this week, 0+/-. Still not making any real progress! I need a couple pounds to move for my DietBet WI on 1/20 so will be tightening up more this week. Snacks were my problem this week, w/in points but not low enough to lose. Exercise was great this week so I'll continue that, and hopefully be celebrating another #10 loss soon, like next Friday 🙂!

Down 0.6# this week. Really worked to stay within both SPs and calories. Really helps me, if I track and WATCH both, especially in the evening. Almost down to my 2020 low. Maybe next week. :) Onwards and downwards!!!!!

From September to December I lost about six pounds - less than half a pound a week. I’m not in a race, but I wasn’t doing as well as I’d like. From the end of November to now I’ve lost four pounds to get down to 220.2. That leaves me with about 40 pounds to get back to goal.

Also, I lost 16.4 pounds from February 19th to the start of this challenge. That was a faster rate than what I’m currently doing, but I was walking more and hurting more. I’m balancing PT exercises with walking - moderation in both - and seem to be doing better.

I'm down 0.4 pounds this week. While not much of a loss, it represents the culmination of a week that I've worked to get myself back in the groove a bit more. It was my wife's birthday this week, so that was a "looser" day. Other than that, though, I have begun tightening up on the reins. I kept myself to one appropriate portion per meal, and there was no alcohol use during the week. I did substitute some mild snacking at night (in place of the alcohol), but I did manage to start replacing that snacking with a cup of tea at night. I feel like I'm going into the weekend in a better place than I've been in for a while, and I will work to keep up this early momentum.

A second minor change is that I bought myself a new running watch. The old one just takes too long to find the gps satellites, and since it's so cold outside, every minute not-running (while waiting for the satellites to lock in) is a minute where I get progressively colder! The only reason I mention this is that the new watch also does a bunch of "health" measures, like counting steps, heart-rate, sleep patterns, etc. What can I say, I always enjoy playing with a new gadget!

Down 0.4, which is perfectly fine after a larger loss last week. The headline is I changed nothing. Still balancing PT and walking, although as I weigh less I seem to be having less pain. Could be the PT . . .

Im down .6. My daily weigh-ins were a bit lower throughout the week, but a loss is a loss.

My food choices and portions were fine this week. I even included some treats. My sleep is off again, and this impacted my activity. I got a good night's rest last night, so fingers crossed, I'll be able to sustain this.

My plan for this this week is the same as it has been the past few weeks.

Up 3 lbs this week but down from the week before. Since 1/1/21 I've been all over the place with at least 5 lb swings and appetite hither and there and so on. I've got another procedure on the 28th of this month but while minor I still have to be put under anesthesia. Besides that there is a family issue going on that effects my attitude. I look at these as excuses and they are but I still have to deal with them.

I will get back on track. Thank you guys for letting me vent.

Sorry so late to post! Bust couple days! Down 0.8#. Things are not moving quickly, but I am soooo close to my next #10 loss!

This week is extra challenging because I have two of my granddaughters. That means food I don't normally have in the house, and I'm extra busy and tired! On the upside, I'm having no trouble getting my steps in LOL

And I did not meet my diet bet goal but will continue to work the program and hopefully get the next month and definitely working to win the final WI on the 6th month

Joined a StepBet that is keeping me accountable to move more. 4 successful weeks so far with two more to go, which will take me right up to our vacation! Also continuing with my other exercise, even bought heavier weights, nothing crazy, just 8#ers to replace the 5# ones I've been using.

I'm down .6 for the week, and I'm down five pounds in five weeks. I've also posted a loss for five weeks in a row. That's important to me.

I did less snacking this week, but there's still room for improvement in the balance of my meals. I've decided to concentrate on increasing protein and veggies. I'm also watching added sugar as I'm wondering if it contributes to my sleep issues. Sleep has impacted my walking goal. It's also hard to get an accurate weight when my sleep is off.

I'll get a big pot of Zero Point Soup made today or tomorrow which is always helpful. I still feel good about my plan.

    Have a great weekend!

It was a good week, healthwise.

    - Got 1st dose of Pfizer vaccine.
    - Down 0.8 for total of 3.0 for January.
    - Had a Jersey Mike cheesesteak and chips yesterday for all my daily points.
    - Got in exercise for at least six days.

That third item is interesting. I’ve been staying within my points. We say a Jersey Mike near the vaccination site, which my wife has wanted to try. Instead of being a dutiful WW, I elected to use the program to have something they’re known for rather than doing veggies. So I didn’t limit myself, and that’s a big psychological thing for me. Ever better, the cheesesteak wasn’t that great, so I don’t need to go back.

Slightly annoyed at my small loss, until I came here and saw that I hit another #10!!! Finally!, But still pretty close to #1 a week, so that's good! (Tho I'd love it to go faster 🤷)

Good week! Lots of moving. Not quite as good with the dancing and lifting, but I've been busy with the littles and tired LOL.

I need a really strong week coming up so I canhave a little room to breath on vacation. Will get lots of beach walking there, plan to do light lifting in the gym, and lots of dancing.

Up .08 lbs this week. I've really been struggle these past few weeks. I'm not totally sure why I'm struggling with my eating habits. It's definitely me and between medical items I went through last year plus covid I feel like mentally I needed to take a break from something. Just didn't need for it all to effect my weight. My plan is to get busy and stay busy and clear the weeds out of my head. After all we all know that's where the issue is (I think). I do take a bunch of meds and that could play a part on it. On to a new week.

    I'm down 1.4!!

I had a really good week from an eating/tracking standpoint. In an effort to get better sleep, I've been experimenting with what/when I eat. I'm back to eating breakfast and trying to get a decent amount of protein early in the day. Then trying not to eat after 8:00pm. I'm also watching added sugar. My sleep has improved but still needs work. I feel like this plan might be helping, so more of the same for the upcoming week to test my theory.

I'm still not exercising enough. Addressing that this week.

    Good job @whathapnd and @lowbar31!

I'm up 0.4 pounds since last week, and am still just bouncing around ~3 pounds above my personal target (though still maintaining well under my WW official goal weight).

With that said, I did a much better job following my plan this week, with the exception of last night. I mostly avoided snacks and alcohol during the week, and I got most of my planned exercise in, in spite of the icy roads this week. If I can just keep with this, I think I will see the scale respond in due time.

Congrats to Dennis and Emmie! Steve-o, you’re scaring me a bit running in adverse weather. I admire the dedication, but worry about the risk of slipping and falling. (Yeah, that’s what we old guys think about instead of thinking about sex.). 😉

A good week for me, down 0.8 pounds. As I said in another thread, I’m losing in small chucks so that I can sneak up on my goal weight and it will never hear me coming. There’s a chance I’ll get back to goal before Tom Brady retires in 2028 . . .

Also, given that we’ve had some snow this week, instead of walking outside along the road, I dusted off the Nordic Track and started working my time back on that. Started at five minutes, and I’m up to twelve this morning.

@crewahl and @Al_Howard: I appreciate the concern, and worry about it myself. In icy/snowy conditions I'll wear Yaktrax or microspikes. They make my shoes heavier (particularly the spikes), but they really do make a big difference when the roads are slippery.

This is the same post from todays Friday WI post.

Up .8 from last week. Still struggling. Bassically up around + - 6 lbs since 1/1/21. For what ever reason and there are some I've struggled with attitude, habits, and just about anything that effects my weight.
