When I think about this quote from the point of view of the UAC, I would rephrase it to say,
"Every day is your opportunity to build the tomorrow that you want!"

Today was awesome! It did start with chocolate cake was it is my housemates boyfriend's birthday but we made a little cake for the 3 of us.
Then I got to do some real Jiu Jitsu. Tough rolls because my partner is about 20kgs bigger than me, male (so stronger than me) and 2 belts higher than me, but it was awesome! He is also nice and doesn't just smash me but adjusts his game to my level. The ocean view was a bonus and the catchup with his family was great.
Food choices were ok but a good portion under budget so it was a successful day.12 -
So first pass day today. Two left.
I spent about 3 hours hiking with my sisters and will do stronglifts later so lots of exercise
But I didn't count calories - we had a big picnic and I did lots of grazing. My phone wasn't connecting to the Internet so I wasn't able to use it whilst eating and it was lots of little bits and I can't remember how many bits of different things I had etc so I just put it down as a big buffet and estimated it high on my diary. But no I didn't track properly.12 -

One week down. This group has helped to keep me focused on tracking. I think this next week will be even better! Monday morning is my running time, so I'm looking forward to that. It always helps clear my head and put me in a better mood for the day.

I did it! I just sneaked under my calorie goal, tracked everything, and managed a two hour walk. I'd like to be doing some more active exercise, but at the moment I'm not really feeling up to it, so trying to take it a bit gentler.12

Exercise- yes (45 minutes of yoga which was actually meant to be an hour but it was so hard!! And I hadn’t had breakfast yet so I wimped out at 45 mins. Also a 30 minute bike ride up and down hills with my very active 10 year old and a 4km walk)

I actually found today harder than my tricky day celebrating my sisters birthday. Probably because I was less busy and didn’t have a plan for it. Delighted to finish my first week of this challenge though, it’s really been amazing at keeping me on track .13 -

When I am out and about or in situations where it's more fun to enjoy the company I take a picture of the before and after plate of my meals. I put my hand in the picture so I can guage the portions I've eaten.12 -

Yes x 3. Low key, easy day, just forty or so minutes of walking. Now that I’m on the move five days a week, it’s nice to do something low key on the weekends.10

Exercise? Yes, a 52 minute walk and some yard work. Nearly 18,000 steps and 129 active minutes. I got credited with 1,165 extra calories and I went a little crazy with them...I don't usually have that many to work with! Still 435 remaining, so well under, just more junk food than I normally consume.9 -

Barely made it under (but currently walking in circles around the apt while I type this to add some more steps)
Went to my in-laws for a homemade lomo saltado lunch with alfajores (cookies) so just did a very light dinner and no wine.
For exercise did an hour walk and my Fitbit also auto-logged an 18 minute "aerobic workout" which was actually me running around the yard playing with my four year cousin 😂6 -
