    MORE CELEBRATIONS

We feel more celebrations will help keep our teams alive.

The mods have been discussing ways to celebrate milestones, more than just onederland and twoterville. Those needs special celebrations, but the in-betweens need recognition, too.

Starting next week, I will post when someone drops under 75s, 50s, and 25s.

If you have someone that hits a milestone, please let me know. I will do a special post for someone with a 25/50/75/100 lb loss -- this is harder for me to find so I will need your help!

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks, Lisa @Cafelelia and @jugar. It's good to be here. I hope to do a good job so that Pam @sleepymom5 can have some me-time and time with Jim.

I just read through this month's posts here and am now going to orient myself with the spreadsheet. Find a few weigh-day gifs and get ready for the week.

Just made the following posting in the TrimStones chatroom...wanted to share in case you'd all like to incorporate in the other teams...this way we'll be able to measure those achievement marks and make Beka's job a little easier. Feel free to cut and paste and update the example to use a member of your team.

As part of supporting each of you in your journey, I'd like to ask for a slight change in our Weigh in process/format. Each week when you post your weigh in, I'm making a little change to the format. Instead of posting in the usual format (see example):

    JessicaKrall8
    Wednesday Weigh-in
    PW: 324.2 (previous weight)
    CW: 324.0 (current weight)

I'd like to add a 5th line of LSF (Lost so Far): 55.8

This will help us to celebrate your achievements and give you a little boost each week as you see that number grow.

No need to re-post anything, just start with your next weigh in! Thanks and help us to help you!

MODs have discussed this and agree it is a good idea. However, we want it to be optional. If you do not want the recognition, then you don’t have to supply the info.

I will make a post to alll the teams tomorrow.

    Goodnight Fit Fam!!

Hi @jugar! DymphnaDaniels did end up weighing in late. I entered her weight on the spreadsheet but can you mark it as a late weigh in. Thanks!

In an effort to recognize accomplishments and celebrate more, beginning in JULY we will start using the format below for our weigh ins.

You will notice a new line at the bottom LOSS TO DATE or LTD -- THIS IS OPTIONAL! If you want to celebrate your victories, please include it. If you feel that it is TMI - just leave it off.

    Here is our new format:

    Beka3695*
    Saturday
    PW: 202.6
    CW:200.8
    LTD:41.2

We will scratch the quarter system that I had posted of above. However, please keep the ONEDERLAND, TWOTERVILLE referrals coming.

@Beka3695 My whole reason for coming up with this idea was to work WITH your quarter system...this way you can see when people reach those milestones and celebrate with them! I thought your quarter system was great...and that way none of the MODS would have to research to find the milestone marks...

I think this works fine though - we will see! Let's all make it clear that LTD is based on the progress since highest weight ever, even if that is not the MFP starting weight. I know I am not alone in having started MFP after already having lost a few pounds, so sometimes it has nothing to do with MFP starting weight. This is a lot simpler than the "quarter system" since no one will have to go search people's previous weights. Cool!

One more end-of-month thing to think of!

A few teams need more members for next month. Slimpossibles and Trimstones are particularly in need! Here is the link for the registration thread. Please make an effort to bring in some more people!

    thanks -

@jessica - if we can certainly celebrate 25/50/75/100+ pounds lost

If we do both the celebrations will get confusing and hard to understand.

@Beka3695 I don't know what you mean by "doing both"...the weekly weigh ins will show how much we lose each week...the LTD shows how much we've lost thus far...then when people hit those special marks...like the LTD says 76.4, we celebrate because they've passed the 75 lb loss mark...not confusing at all...

I think any celebration is worthy...there's so much negative around us, that the little positives really help...

Maybe I'm missing something, but that was my thought.
