Kathy I am glad you have a plan for when that time comes. My mom can be so stubborn at times! We had a neighbor in Alabama that fixed us a fish that had white cornbread and some chicken with it. It was delicious. We had hotdogs cooked over our woodburning stove. Best Christmas dinner ever😎.

Shelley - picture of baby starfish, please.

Kathy - everything will work out just fine. Your folks will be so happy they are with you.

I had peanut butter in the morning and an egg sandwich for dinner. Pat's b'day was yesterday. We went over to Sara & Pete's and actually went in their house for the first times since the lock down. We spent several hours there. Pat and Ronan played the entire time. It was so cute. We had dessert at 4:00 in the afternoon. Some fluffy chocolate thing and vanilla ice cream. Ronan was excited to have dessert before dinner!! I am not a chocolate fan but ate it anyway!! We miss them so much.

Tomorrow is Father's Day and the kids are coming over here. It will be fun. Ronan hasn't seen his toys here in a couple of months. Everything will look new to him.

Yesterday got away from me somehow :-) did a lot of fun stuff. Donated a bunch of food to a local food drive that we normally do Hands-On, but this year they had a drive through. Also popped by Church to say goodbye to our director of religious education who's moving on to a new job. All in all a good day. Decided to take it as a rest day because I've been exercising a ton. For Father's Day Jim decided he wanted to go on a family hike so I will find a place for us to go, and I'm cooking some yumminess for dinner doing a small barbecue. Will get some exercise in today for sure!

Chris I will get a photo of it. As soon as he comes out of the sand! I can picture Ronan running around to all of his toys and not knowing which to play with first. Muahaha

Karen sounds like you had a really busy day. Fun in the sun!

I turned doing nothing special and went my back into spasms yesterday. I had some muscle relaxers and have been just sitting around a lot taking them.

My new book arrived yesterday. Looks like it is the Mao Clinic diet. Could have sworn I ordered something else. Oh well. So I am going to start reading it tonight. My daughter is also going to be doing it with me. It was her idea. What have I got myself into!

We decided to buy an artic cat side by side. DH thinks we need it for up on the mountain. I guess it can get us to new places to hike.

Hope you all had a great weekend. Stay safe my friends. Lots of things happening here in our beautiful country right now.

Shelley I hope your back is okay, now.

Going to try and convince the person I live with that we need to have our house keeper start back. The graham cracker crumbs are starting to pile up under my computer chair...I can see them with my glasses on and I shouldn't be able to. My glasses are for close work not for distance...hmmmm.

Shelley - hope you are starting to feel better. Let us know what you think of the Mayo Clinic Diet.

I just got the report for my annual blood work and was surprised to see my LDL cholesterol a little bit high. High for me but just a tad bit over the normal range. Probably all of that cheese I am eating :-) LOL! I think I need to work on that. I also need to take an iron supplement which is not unusual for me.

Yes my back is feeling a bit better. It has always hurt since I fell last winter. But better.

Chris have that person you live with clean it. He could wear an apron! :D

Karen the company that I got mine through quit. Not sure where to get my blood drawn now.

So I weighed myself for the first time in a while. 148.4 I was glad it was under 150. But I need to start logging my food again. I like to log it on the FitBit. for me it is easier. Reading a chapter in the Mayo Clinic Diet book this morning. Bye all

I was so sure I posted yesterday...but NO!

Patrick has been doing a lot of the cleaning...I gotta tell you. He does the bathrooms and the vacuuming and mopping the stone floors. I get to dust all the frickin' shutters...have I told you how many frickin' shutters we have? and I get to dust (around) everything else.

The thing is...he's had back surgery...a lot more complicated than mine was...and both his hips have been replaced...one of them twice because the metal hip they put in the first time was recalled...so he shouldn't be doing all the stuff our housekeeper does.

When we moved to this house, a housekeeper and a gardener were must haves. I cannot do it. He should not be doing it. UGH!!

I miss my housekeeper...I miss our trainer. I actually miss going to the grocery store. :o

    Sorry... :'(

Aw Chris, I feel for you two. I feel for all of us. I love going to the movies. But I am afraid to go now. My DH dear friend had surgery to remove some cancer yesterday. And he could not even be there for him. :'( Maybe you could have the housekeeper come over if you both went for a nice drive. And not go into your bedroom.

Chris what a lovely picture. Awesome subject and beautiful color!

Looks like I forgot to post yesterday. Went on the mountain yesterday. Hummingbirds are starting to come in to our feeders. They are so noisy! My mom bought us a new feeder. It is so bright. Lots of red glass! Moved a lace leaf peony to a spot with more shade. Then planted a new hibiscus where it was. We also planted a red trumpet vine and some pansys. I also put in another shade plant. Forgot the name. Then did some weeding. Waiting for darkness to spray a clematis. Earwigs have started to destroy the flowers! Nasty creatures. I love eating outside. We do it a lot in the summer.

    147.2. Down from last week.

Thanks, Shelley. He's my new desk top picture. Looks 3D to me.

I also sent you Tank Top Arms in an email. See if you can print or copy it somehow.

I didn't not weigh today. I am up 10 pounds... :'( Can't stand that number.

Chris thanks. I will check it tonight. I can't stand my number either. But I know you will get it down again. Or change it all into muscle! I love that photo. It does look 3D!

I am going to buy a new pot for next to my gate. The old one is falling apart. It is a composite one. Now I want a concrete or some other hard type of material. Wish we had more to choose from.
