How does the summer heat influence your eating and overall process?

The summer always changes my eating in one way or another. It used to be the time of year where my cravings dried up but that seems to be a more permanent thing now.
Here is what I am noticing this summer:
I am less interested in cooking so my meals have gotten more simple. I find myself also using processed foods more and eating out a little more often.
I am not interested in doing much volume eating so I am eating a half to third of what I normally do and just making the calories up in other ways.
While I normally eat lower carb in the summer this summer has much more activity in it so I am still eating higher carb than I have eaten through most of my weight loss.
It has been kind of a weird 6 weeks for me. I had a break and then 10 days later had to travel for family in which I just decided to eat maintenance again. As some of you know I am in no particular hurry to finish but I am tired of back and forth and look forward to a period of deficit. At the stage I am in I should really take a break about every 6 weeks but I think I will push it to 8 because I AM SICK OF BREAKS now. Mentally I like consistency so pushing out will be good for my mental process. Is the extra 2 weeks a reverse break? lol.

summer heat saps my energy levels and does make me want to reach for convenience and simple. I've already seen my activity levels take a nose dive from what I was doing in April and May, and this I know will continue until October when things start to cool back off again.1

It’s always hot here!...I do remember it snowing two times in the last 47 years I have lived in Florida!...and one Thanksgiving it was so cold I thought I was back in Indiana....when we lived in Las Vegas it got cold in the winter but the summer was as hot as Florida, but no humidity....I try to stay inside during the hottest part of the day...I do not garden or cut grass....With air conditioning we eat the same as we do the rest of the year and I bake all of the time....living where it is hot and humid, you always have something to drink in your hand....you have to drink a lot of water to stay hydrated...0

I don't much enjoy being in the kitchen, and I'm grumpier and more inclined to generally snack. I really wish I could eat fruit because I want sweet snacks, or use fresh veggies for a crunch. (sigh)
I don't have trouble drinking enough water, though! Lol!1
