Saturdays in the summer on the farm, I usually get the most exercise for any day of the week. Today started with 22 minutes of active stretching; then roughly 90 minutes of walking; lifting and carrying cut wood.
    Tracking: good
Calories: well under my limit today.

Do you adjust your own calories by utilizing TDEE calculators? I look at fitnessfrog.com, damnripped.com more often than not. At 50 yrs of age in a few months...I wondered if there are better calculators that I'm unaware of.
Wishing you guys a lovely Sunday. I am trying to decide if I'm comfortable enough to go to our church...in masks...w/ distancing...

Yes x 3. Starting tomorrow I am reducing my intake by about 300 calories. Since it is starting to get chillier I am not walking in the morning and doing a at home workout instead. According to my watch I am burning about that many less calories. That is also what was suggested by MFP when I changed my activity level.

I have used in the past but can’t remember which. I do remember that the majority gave me similar results. From that I worked out a guideline calorie goal which I use everyday regardless of my exercise. This means that overall it averages out but I find it easier to have the same goal all the time not one that changes. It also means that I don’t eat my exercise calories back. I did find the right number as it works for me when I stick to it. I got to my goal weight and stayed there until injury kept me fairly inactive for over a year. I kept the weight gain minimal but lost all my strength and muscle so it’s been slow getting back. I’m making progress when I stick to the program!

I think finding that ideal number is partly trial and error, not dependent on a single website calculator. They give you an idea but how your individual body responds helps you figure out the exact range you need to be in.

I had a good day. Morning run and yoga with some rehab followed by a few errands and the binge Lucifer with my housemate as the weather turned bad! All food logged and under my tdee goal.

Thursday, Friday and today I got it all in. Exercise Thursday and Friday was moving patients, today was hauling my three cats back and forth to the vet and some housework. One pass used, two days left! 👍🏼

Congratulations to all who made WC this month! WTG!!

Pass day for me. I am taking the rest of August to get my priorities in order. Still visiting and logging, but need to do some soul searching. Some things going on right now (self imposed) requiring me to make some personal changes in my life.

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?
Yes- between stress-pacing and deliberate exergame, burned more than 100 extra exercise calories, and ate none of them
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes (see above)
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes

    Days goals met: 24
Pass days used: 5 (4 in a row due to stress; mostly N log, and a N exercise)

We seem to have finally lined up a prototype process that will relive a huge portion of my stressors; alpha and beta testing this week.
