Editing a post feature

I edit.
I try to save and leave and return.
Nothing takes? ....

I dunno Frank...I just edited a post and it seemed to work fine for me.

Maybe your original post was perfect as-is, and MFP couldn't stand seeing you change perfection?

Frank...Dunno what's happened for you. I'm like @steveOmania and just went 3 different times and edited a post on here. You might restart your device? sometimes that will help. I had a weird situation on a email I was trying to post below on and it just kept blinking at me over and over I never get the post to go through. 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I have intermittently had problems with edits. Works most of the time, not all of the time.

Something I started doing early on, especially for a detailed post was to select and copy whatever I'd written. I don't do this for all posts, but I do it for ones I don't want to have rewrite and for which I may have a lot to say. That way I can paste it into a new post if I have a problem. That doesn't help you with your current issue, but they do have issues on the board sometimes. So, I thought I'd pass it along.

The only problem I have is getting the edit gear instead of the option to report spam etc. They overlap each other on my phone. Always takes multiple taps to get the edit.

I also have an issue with the options for responding to a post. I need an LOL often, like on your initial post and on Steve's response 😂

Apparently I have a lot of um...issues..with this platform. I’ve yet to find out how to reply without initiating a new post, or how to @linmueller without typing the sign. I really am not that technologically stunted. Or at least I didn’t think so. 😆😆
