Many of us feel the need to remain connected by just signing in on a daily basis. We may have a lot to say or very little. We may say smart things, or dumb things. It doesn't matter if we're having a good day, a bad day...or something in my between. We'll post our thoughts, our successes, our challenges, our insights (or lack thereof), and our support. We're here for each other. Together, we can do this!

This isn't about perfection...it's about perseverance: to persist in an undertaking in spite of counter influences, opposition, or discouragement.

Onward and Downward. Everyone is welcome!
Do one thing right today...whether it's drinking the liquids, eating the fruits and vegetables, taking the multivitamin, getting the dairies in, having the healthy oil, choosing whole grains...whatever. And, if you're new to this message board, check out Goadies.org

Remember that at its core, this plan is simple - eat a little less than you used to, eat a little healthier, be a bit more active. The rest is just finding the balance that works for you, and your friends on GoaD are here to share what's worked for them

    Good morning everyone. Wanted to introduce myself. I’m Sean and live in the Washington DC area. My goal is to drop 34 pounds and get down to 170. (5’9” 39yo male)

    I’ve been as low as 170 pounds in 2017 but have let it go and at my worst I. June of this year I was up to 213 and couldn’t get it down.

    I began running in June and July and wasn’t seeing weight loss until I rediscovered tracking macros. I’ve lost 8 pounds in a month and am a dedicated tracker and weigh myself daily. I like to take my weekly averages and just make sure that everyday it’s coming down a bit. So far so good. I wanted to join this group because I feel like it will keep me accountable on a daily basis until I hit my goal.

    Welcome @sphovan ! and congrats on your weight loss! There's a #10 challenge thread that you might be interested in. It's been going for a while, but you can join in any time. The thread should be pretty close to the top, since I just posted in it. Being accountable there every Friday has helped me a lot! Good luck with reaching your goal!

    Vacation has commenced. Not that much is happening aside from some meal prep.
