Tracking yes calories yes6 -
Exercise no, tracking yes, calories yes.
I've not given up on exercise, but I am frustrated with how hard I'm finding it to motivate myself to get it done. On the plus side my eating has actually been pretty good for the majority on the month - better than in a long while. I'm cooking rather than ordering takeout, and I've stuck with plant based with the occasional egg thrown in. Overall I'm happy with how things are going.11 -

Loved the weather here today! We had an unusual cool front blow in...so we (in the high 90's yday) awoke to 54 degrees. This called for PE right after breakfast..a trip to the nature preserve with my son to do some cool weather walking. Could not go off trail due to the mud - but of course the 14 yr old decided to do it anyway. He'll have fun cleaning those shoes this evening.6 -

Yes, yes, and yes.
Today's exercise was 3 1/2 hours of painting my kids room, plus cleaning and cooking. It was a very productive day here.5 -
Yes x 3 for Thursday and Wednesday
Tennis was cancelled today due to air quality, so I will do a boot camp instead. But I've tracked everything, and prelogged dinner so I don't have to think hard about it. I really don't want to do my online Boot camp but I don't want to take a pass day! I think I'll need those for when I'm out of town next week helping a sick family member. Working out, tracking and eating right is going to be a challenge but I'm gonna try!5 -

Can't wait to get back on working out tomorrow! I couldn't find the motivation to do it today. I felt exhausted.4 -
Pass day 2
There seem to be a lot of us lacking motivation or struggling with exercise. I'm definitely feeling that. Being back at work (as a teacher virtually) has made my schedule less flexible but at the same time, I'm teaching via zoom rather than getting steps in naturally. So I need to keep exercising intentionally but there's less time to do so. I think things will calm down in a few weeks (unless we go back in hybrid model) but right now it's tough to have the time and motivation. I walked 45 min or so but that wasn't enough for what I ate.6 -

5th day not making it. Definitely a practice first month!!6 -
Yes x 3.
I’ve got to re-calculate my TDEE, as I’ve probably moved my last bed. I’ve got to train my replacement over my last two days at work.
I see cleaning out my weight room and going to get my VR headset back out for my workouts in my near future.
Had a five day weekend and it was lovely! But I was soooo lazy; only housework daily.
I will find my groove, tho.
Amanda Ross, happy anniversary!6 -

Unintended Pass Day #2 for the month. My allergies are killing me from all the wildfire smoke, so I just wasn't feeling up to a lot of exercise today.8

I use the “just 15 minutes“ or if I’m really resistant “just 5 mins” and then I’m off & running, or in my case walking. I have had to modify my exercise (I’ve walked a few years every day 10K) but the fires have made this unsafe 21 of the past 24 days. SO I began with “just 15 mins of yoga” alternated with “15 mins of upper body strength”
Now I’m doing 40-60 mins of those every day.
Baby steps work.
Also, when faced with a challenging change,
Add in things to make it nicer. Fresh flowers, $1-2 each time to spend on your guilty pleasure at month end.8 -
@HASWLRS Thank you! We will get to see her in person tomorrow! (Yes, I made the cake😋)

@amandaross887 Happy Anniversary!
Despite continued progress in my weight loss journey I have slowed down my exercise routine due to sciatica and just do yoga. For the rest housework and cooking account for about 4000 steps a day which is clearly not enough but I have no option right now. This has led to some comfort eating.
Exercise: Yes
Calories: No
