Challenge Time: One small change
As Im sitting here in my freezing office drinking hot water because my office is so cold, all Ive been drinking is hot coffee, and I have been feeling the effects of dehydration, so I decided to drink hot water instead of coffee, I got to thinking, what small changes have you done, or could you make to make you just a little healthier? Heres some that I do often
-Taking stairs instead of the elevator
-carb balance tortilla instead of traditional flour
-Dehydrated fruit bar or light cheese stick instead of whatever snack im craving
-getting up and pacing my office to get off my butt
-switched to black coffee a few years ago, but at first I stared just putting a little less cream in my coffee
-light and fit greek yogurt everyday (its been amazing for my gut health)
-cooking with lean ground turkey instead of beef
Little things add up to big changes. What are some little things you have changed? And what are what are some things you can change?2 -

-I'm trying to get up throughout the day and walk five minutes out of every hour
-I'm trying to snack less
-I'm trying to eat a veggie or fruit every day
-I'm trying to stay positive about COVID
-I'm trying to not eat my exercise points
-I'm trying to stay out of the cookie jar

The little changes I'm trying to do....
Incourage not discourage myself and others
Drink water at meal prep. It makes me more full during the meal too and don't eat as much.
Not eat the rest of kids meals when there done.
They always ask for mine. I say I weighed it and need it all for my body to grow strong especially the veggies and meat there is more on the counter if you want more.
We all get to pick what we want once a week for dinner. The rest I pick what we have in the fridge.
Some of these are food related and some are my mind
This one is the best. If I start eating more than i want during it I think about where I am and how far I've come and where I want to be. How good I feel right now compared to before. That usually debunks it. Then I record it and let it go.

Little changes for me include:
Being kinder to myself
Drinking 12 cups of water daily
Box breathing as needed
Getting in some form of exercise daily (I like the 30-day challenges I've been doing)
Eating 2 servings of fruit and/or vegetables daily

No worries @Jen_967 you're all caught up now! We always start the months on Sunday, so sometimes that puts a few days early, sometimes it puts us a few days late each month. It all evens out in the end I guess. I think it's more an organizational thing I think.
Hope you have some great plans for your long weekend?! I've got some new piano music I'm anxious to get into and I just started a new book, so hoping to put a dent into it.

My goal is 130 which is supposed to get me on the high end of normal BMI for my age and height (short at 5'1").1 -

I always seem to be dehydrated, so working on drinking more. More water of course, or going for diet soda instead of full strength, black coffee or easy on the creamer, tea instead of hot cocoa.1
