In the past I have definitely let food direct my attitude but as of late these last years I make my attitude effct my fokd habits.

If I’m really in the dumps I’ll likely grab an extra cookie. But my habits are so long standing now that my eating isn’t very attached by my short term attitude.

But in the big picture I have to be able to put together a menu that I’m going to find satisfying. Filling enough, tasty enough, flexible enough, fun (treats) enough. If I think I’m deprived and suffering through stuff, I’m not sticking with it.

And when I started the whole weight loss project I thought “Well, that’s it for you George. From now on you’re on the outside looking in.” Wrong. And I had to keep proving to myself I was wrong about 3-4?times to get to goal.

    Great question.

Hate to be wishy-washy, but it really depends. In general, I'd say my attitude determines my food. When I'm in the zone and things are humming along, it's generally fairly easy to make good choices MOST of the time. However, if I start eating a lot of junk food/sugar, I definitely get kind of down and crave lots more of the same. Sometimes it's hard to get out of that cycle.

I've been on track for 11 weeks, and while I'm not thinking I won't derail at some point and struggle, right not, I'm coasting along. And when I'm coasting, the only effect mood has is to determine how much actual cooking I'll do vs easy stuff like eggs. Either way, I'm OP.

I’m not exactly sure whether I eat more when I’m tired or pissed..Goodness knows I am more than enough of both lately.
That being said, I suppose that I am not terribly off Plan.

Do I tend to crave more sweets because of my dark attitude? Yes. But can’t say I will rip through a bag of Fritos or a sleeve of cookies. I will eat a portion and wait it out. Mostly succeeding lately.

However... do I need those Fritos or cookies? Am I still hungry? No. And there’s the rub!
