A bonus of my autoimmune disease is that it comes with a side of arthritis. It’s been cold and wet for a bit and I haven’t been moving. The more I don’t move, the more I can’t move. Or, is it the more I can’t move, the more I don’t move? This is the time of year I normally give up. I am trying hard not to, so my plan is to hop on my indoor bike and do a recovery ride to get my joints moving and then some restorative yoga. Then work.

68 minutes of competition squad. Toughest session of the week but by far my favourite even though I did spend a large portion of my time just focusing on my breathing. I tend to forget to breathe when I’m in a tough situation in a roll which makes it worse. So learning to breathe while moving especially when I’m tired was a valuable exercise. I wore my chest strap hr monitor and even though it lost signal a number of times, I still earned over 700 calories for that session! And an average heart rate of over 70%.
Good food choices as well even though we went out for lunch to say goodbye to my friends parents who are moving to the UK. All logged and under budget.4 -

Tight, but in range. Not so much exercising, just playing with the kids in the park and a little bit of walking. Went to bed early. 😉4
