Morning run felt really tough and I walked lots of it but when I was near the end I realised I could finish the 5km in under 40 minutes so I pushed. Stopped my watch at 39:59! It was a timed run and one of the guys in charge checked the system to see what my official time was and it showed 1 hour 55 minutes! There is either a glitch on the system or I didn’t scan my band at the start properly. I normally don’t bother with my time as I get the points for the rewards program regardless of my time but I was curious and when I checked I discovered that if I did it in under 40 minutes, it would be my second best time for the course! I’m going to email them tomorrow to fix it for me.
Then work and church in the evening. Ate well enough and all my food logged, well under budget.
I missed the first competition squad training session as it happened while I was at work, but I’ll be there next week!9 -

Pass days 5 and 6 for yesterday and today. I haven't exactly been comfort eating, but lots of stress means I haven't really been paying attention to or caring about what I've been eating either. Getting a fair bit of walking in every day though. I really want to be getting back to morning workouts, but I've been getting up early to start work (hence the stress) instead.
In the coming week the plan is to start on C25k in the hope that it will be gentle enough to get me back into running without aggravating old injuries. If I can stick to the plan it will take me up until Xmas which feels like a nice goal!7 -

Just ate 8 gummy bears that put me over...pass day 4...didn't think about it... and had forgotten to log half a piece of non-dairy cheese at lunch... I'm not a newbie at this...I know better. Anywho...ONWARD! I'm going to do a zumba workout tonight...and might try a bit of a HIIT workout...but I'll let ya know. Either way...I know I'll technically be under if I ate back my calories...but no...that cannot become my norm for now.

maltedtea - I love your "pre-workout dancing" ... and dancing like a fool.... I tried to get my kids to dance at the park with me the other day... it is my prerogative to embarrass my kids...and I promise you this...I WILL be dancing when I'm too old to care what people think in public if God gives me the ability to ;D Some of my happiest memories are of dancing folks around big city parks I've been to. It's ALWAYS the elderly folks in their dresses and suits that are teaching the younger gen how to do it.6
