My mom and I went for a long walk and I was overly hungry. On the way back, I decided we would pick up lunch from a restaurant because I couldn't think straight at that point and all I wanted was a cheeseburger. This triggered a binge later in the day as I had an insatiable craving for salt, sugar and fat after eating that meal. I proceeded to eat ice cream, potato chips, gummy bears, etc. for the rest of the day. I could have avoided this, if I had only brought a protein bar or something with me. Anyway, being part of this challenge is helping me to learn how my body reacts to certain foods, how I use food to numb or escape, and what foods make me feel really good and healthy. In the past, I probably would have picked up takeout food again today and continued eating junk. I am changing my mindset and creating new habits. I am excited to see how I'll be feeling at the end of this month.
On a positive note, I am grateful to be 45 days alcohol free today. I went for a 30 minute walk this morning and I am back on track.5 -

@KCJen
Since so few people read posts after the actual date, almost no one will read my post to you.
Please drop the tagline, "but disqualified because I joined late.'
Look forward!

This is my favorite photo taken during our Yellowstone Park trip. An American bison bull in the foreground and a geyser in the background.
@RangerRickL That’s an awesome shot!

I got the message, and Bcm9 messaged me too. I get confused in all the daily posts and the what's on your mind section. I need to work on being better at staying updated with it.2 -
