Just an example of why you shouldn’t put too much pressure on your weekly weigh in.
This past week was the first time in the last 18 months that I have consistently weighed under 75kgs with three weigh in in a row coming in below that. Yesterday I was 74.5kg. This morning I’m 75.8kg. I know I didn’t put on over a kg in a day and its due to a variety of factors including hormones.
I understand daily weighing doesn’t work for everyone, but remember the limitations of your chosen weigh in schedule and don’t let one number get you down. Use it for motivation and see what next week’s number does.
I personally use daily weigh ins so I can get a good picture of when my weight fluctuates from hormones so I can ensure that I won’t be hit by a random increase on a fight day and be bumped up a weigh division. But I don’t get too concerned about the numbers most of the time. I celebrate when they drop below my next mini goal (even if they jump back up occasionally). If we are consistent with the healthy habits this group promotes, the numbers will drop! Not always as fast as we want, but trust the process and it will come.10 -

This is so true. I'm considering daily weighing for this reason - ideally I'd love to not weigh at all, but I know that doesn't really work for me.
@MadisonMolly2017 @amandaross887 @davert123 @heidipatterson100 @ginadomaszewicz - thank you all so much for kind words and encouragement! This gain is likely not a fluke as I went off the rails with the eating even before I went away, but much thanks to this group I'm back on track and more motivated than ever.8 -
Yeay, I have calories left that I did not eat back. Very stressfull day, yet I took the opportunity to get out on my 🚴♀️, even if for a much shorter ride than I would have liked to. I also lifted 🏋️♀️ and that turned my mood around (from almost dispair to confidence).
So a good day w.r.t. accountability.
You ppl are like a wonderful family! So supportive of each other❣🌻👍 Being part of this group is a blessing.8 -

Afternoon walk and another day of no alcohol so even though I ate a lot, I was under calories by a good amount when logging.
Enjoying my yogurt-based recipes. Lunch was an apple with a yogurt-PB-honey-salt dip and with dinner I had a side of carrots, celery, and a homemade spicy herb full-fat Greek yogurt dip. Between the fiber from the veggies and the fat in the sauce, it's a filling yet low-calorie option.
☝🏿Mmmk, about this fruit dip @cjane917, do you have a recipe, please?!
In the main forums, so many people mention mixing non-traditional things into yogurts (Jello, PB, etc) but this is the first time I've been interested. I think your addition of salt put me over the top (especially since I have some smoked salt I'd like to try in this concoction)!3 -
Yes X3. A rest day/mental health day for me with one walk.
Spent most of the day working on my laptop in my car with the windows down, beside a field of goldenrod and woods in the national park.6 -
Yes x 3 for Monday
It was a crazy day, and truthfully I logged most items just now on Tuesday morning. That's the upside of eating the same thing on weekdays I guess. Did a good dog walk, started on track.7 -

Pass - worked out in the morning before going in for my infusion. When I got home, all I wanted was comfort food and sleep.6 -

OCT. 5TH - wow. not typical of me...but I had a 2nd pass day yday... had to ponder what was going
on to figure that one out...and it hit me... keeping it honest here...hormones! ;D As a woman in her soon to be 50th year...PMS shifts were not a new thing in my life...but I don't normally have such an issue. Anyway - I am aware now. Trust me, my sons were happy to point out how crabby I was...and I very GRACIOUSLY told them they were wrong before I realized that I owed them an apology.7 -

@MaltedTea sure! I've copied one ratio below but you can adjust the levels of each ingredient based on your taste preference. I add a pinch of salt as well because I've heard salt enhances sweet dishes. Yours sounds like it would go really well with it!
1 6 oz container plain Greek yogurt
3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
3 teaspoons honey2 -
