Yes, yes, and yes, yesterday was a good day.
Close but no cigar on the winner's circle thing. I have taken 4 pass days this month. No reasonable excuse, just one too many lazy days. All four passes were for lack of exercise, no pass days on diet or logging. Other than a few days without exercise I have stayed on track quite well this month, been very successfully maintaining my weight settling into the 150s. The UAC has been a part of that for me, thanks Rick. And as you say that winner's circle can be surprisingly hard to make. Looking forward to December!7 -

@BMcC9 Thanks for those details! Things are actually looking up. I survived yesterday with planning that did not leave me feeling deprived. Went over and used pass, but planned to. Now today, I am tracking and my trick is I am spreading the measured leftovers throughout the day. Pie for breakfast; mashed potatoes and green bean casserole for lunch; turkey, stuffing cranberry sauce and gravy for dinner. If I keep to my portions, I will actually remain under goal today. It's a miracle!!
I totally agree that anyone making effort through the challenging holidays is a true Champion. I fully expect that December could knock me out of the winner's circle, but will be thrilled with the Champions list. Thanks for the note!!!

No winners circle for me and today was yet another pass. Our youth pastor’s eldest turned 6 and I was on her list of people who must be invited so obviously I couldn’t refuse. Grazed far too much but had lots of fun with the kids. The youngest sibling is going through a shy phase but at one point she walked up to me and took hold of my hand and we just stood there together for a while. So precious.
Exercise didn’t really happen although I did wrestle a 30+kg python to get her meds down her throat. She does not enjoy this and I actually fell over, landing on bricks but with her head still firmly in my grip so no harm done. I also did multiple dives to the bottom of the seal pool to pick up pieces of rock and other rubbish that were covering the drain. Not only do I not sink enough so staying down is really hard work but the pump is on so the stuff is really hard to pull off the drain. I cleared enough for the pumps to work better and next time I’ll take a weight belt to help keep me down while I’m doing it.
