Exercise: Yes. 45min hill run followed by 20 min weights and stretching
Calories: Yes. Overate at dinner but kept total for the day in check
Tracked: Yes.
Non Scale Victories:
1. I'm looking leaner and feeling stronger
2. I can run at least an hour straight without stopping, even hit a VO2 max of 39 a few times.
3. I feel way more energized and alive and hardly nap anymore. I no longer feel depressed. Intense cardio exercise, weights and making sure I get all the right minerals and protein and calcium along with vit D in my diet all helped me out.
@craigo3154 you can do this and hope to start to feel better and happier each and every day.

We might be moving towards a second-wave lockdown here too (not official yet) but at least this time DH and I already have our little chest-freezer that we are starting to fully-stock bit by bit now .... we never really expanded our activities much even when things opened up more (and my job won't stop being "work off-site" for a very long time) but the lock-down plus cold-and-dark is probably going to make it seem more isolating than winter on its own usually does ....

Long car ride home. A friend asked me to stop at a store she loves along the way and buy her a candy apple. I WILL NEVER WALK INTO THAT STORE AGAIN! I ended up having fudge and a candy apple for dinner. That was a store of chocolatey goodness and should be outlawed. For the first year after I quit smoking, I had to avoid gas stations and convenience stores as the temptation to buy cigarettes was far too tempting for me. I need to avoid that store now. It’s one thing to have someone buy and give me a candy apple and then I have a 1/4 of one each night. It’s another for me to go in there and buy all the things. 😏5 -

Beautiful fall day, worked in the yard picking up pecans. I am a morning exerciser which means after lunch I am not very active. Getting outside in the afternoon keeps me from being a couch potato.4 -

Exercise? Yes
In budget? Likely
Tracking? No
Tracking while in hospital is hard, so that will just be a best effort.
Thank you for all the well wishes, they are gratefully appreciated.
I walk the hallways for about 30 mins day to get my daily exercise in. I also do bodyweight exercises where possible.
The hospital is a private hospital specializing in mental health. I am in hospital to do a 4 week intensive therapy to help with alleviating the worst symptoms of my depression.
Today was the first day of therapy and I can see already how it is going to help. For those who know psychology, it is effectively a 4 week intensive DBT course. It is mentally draining and at times confronting, but it will be worth it.
I will keep in touch with my UAC support family throughout. This forum is one of the things that keeps me going. Thank you.
Glad to know that you have started seeing the effect of the therapy.
You are inspirational to me.2
