@craigo3154 - be well. You’re in my thoughts.4

@MaltedTea - your posts make me smile. I wish there was a smile button.
Saturday, November 14
I started my morning with a 20 minute energy focused meditation before coffee. Then, of course, coffee. I don’t know if I’m imagining it, but I had soooo much energy all day. Between that and dancing while making my coffee (huge thanks to @TerriRichardson112 ), I have found the perfect way to start the day.

I had an especially lovely Saturday today! Perfect weather to meet my closest cousin, Sharon and her husband. We ate outside at Barrio Queen restaurant in Phoenix. I bought cousin-worthy birthday flowers for her and we spent relationship time together with our spouses too.
2.5 hours with the horse and other horse people. Very fun!
2 plus hours of chores, but what a great day.

@craigo3154 My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you head back into the hospital. Knowing you need help still and willing to face those demons head on and attacking them is the first step to healing and I give you tons of credit for that. Be well my friend!

My favorite thing about Saturday: Well I never used to get excited about Saturday because it just meant another work day for me. I am a hairdresser as well as an assistant preschool teacher. My Saturdays were always spent working 12 hour days doing hair. Now that I started doing nanny jobs instead of working in the preschool it has given me time to do hair on the week days and keep weekends free for my family. So now Saturdays mean no alarm clock, time for family, time to watch movies, extra time for more fun activity to add to my exercise or even a nap during the day!6 -
What's the best thing about Saturday? Well, since I work on both Saturday and Sunday, when the weekend is in my rear view mirror.... writing this, I think i need to change my attitude. For a while I was doing walking meditations and will commit now to go back to that tomorrow.
Exercise: hours of slow walking and disinfecting public areas due to the virus, plus carrying some heavy items on purpose for upper body strength
Calories: under budget
Tracking: yes, everything4 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? 20 mile bike ride.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes.4 -
I'm taking a break from logging for a little while. I'll be back next month.
Thanks, this has gotten me to into a routine exercise habit that I'm enjoying and look forward to. This group rocks.4 -

Yes, no alarm clock Saturday for me!
Pass day # 3, completely out of routine, exercise yes 10 min quigong, 30 min yoga, 60 min cleaning, no tracking, calories probably ok6 -
Problem with being retired and semi-"stay-at-home". Every day looks the same. Ironically, at one point I had to think hard to figure out what day of the week it was.5

Exercise: yes -yard work

I didn't track for two days! I'm out of the circle. It has been a very intense few days, but I'm happy that I ate normal foods and still exercised. On the other hand, of I'm losing pass days I should have made them worthwhile lol6

For no reason not in a good mood in AM (rare for me) so took 2/3 of my walk in AM. It helped as did chatting with my SIL. Then read a book & relaxed. Mid-Nov is always the hardest part of each year emotionally for me - and I have no idea why. No bad memories -in fact a terrific memory:kidney!
Glad I weathered it. I’m glad I am not using food or eating out anymore for this. I’m human: sometimes our emotions do this, I guess.
Mid afternoon all was great, a lovely evening, great sleep & Sunday’s been great.
Self-kindness & care may be at the root of all of this.
@craigo3154 You likely ate already at the hospital, but I will be sending you wishes & prayers of strength. You have helped me & so many others so much;I only wish I could do more for you.
Take care.
