Acts of Kindness...Today I went to see my dear friend Jenn and spend some time with her. She just moved into a new studio apartment that I simply love! She has great views of the ski hill, simming pool, and tennis courts, a beautiful balcony to sit on and chat up a storm, and nice walking paths all around the complex. I felt like I was on a vacation. Today was putting me first again, as I am learning to do. I always want to spend time with my friends, but feel there is always some cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, you name it to be done. When finally done with those things I never have time to see any friends. I am so happy we had our " girls day" today. Love ya my friend! She is new to this group this month!2 -

Got to pull out a pass from my pocket 🤷♀️ , because I went over. Not a bad day overall, but I craved croutons before bed (I blame it on being tired) and that + an apple put me over.
Had a quick fast 🏃♀️ (20mins, due to time constraints) and 🚴♀️ around (for 30 mins or more) and went to bed early 😀.
I have to be very careful, because I had a good month so far and last month this time, I let things flip over. However, that time I had just reached a deadline and was exhausted. This time around, my mind's in a very good place 😃.4 -

An act of kindness? I truly can't think of one other than my job 🤷🏿♀️. I tend to work beyond my job descriptions. "Out of scope" may be the right term. I dunno, I find "jobs" boring?! If I perceive a need then I try to fill it (or find someone who can), or if I have a question/concern I feel needs championing then I try to track down the answer.
Yesterday, after an email conversation I started on Friday morning grew from 2 to 7 people (😭), I finally got the okay to reach out to someone and offer our organization's services. The person was the subject of a media article last week and I felt our organization should offer our support. We are doing so privately (which I felt was important) as not everything needs to have the attention of the public eye.
