My best advice to newcomers is to read the FAQs.
My best advice to everyone is to check out the 'What's on your Mind' section. The members who want to go deeper than just daily posting literally share what is on their mind. We adhere to a kindness test here at the UAC. Please help us to encourage and support you and each other.
I'll be away for the next 3 days as my wife and I do our snowbird move from our farm west of Chicago to our condo in Phoenix.
This week, I'll be driving a pickup truck with my horse, Cocoa, in the trailer. Behind me in the cab of the truck will be the black and white border collie, Chica.
I've encouraged other team members to do a daily opening post.

Back from a long hiatus. Hope to be sharing more in the near future.Currently working through depression. Have been in hospital and need to go back again middle of this month for an in-patient program.
The habits I learned from UAC have kept me in good condition. Even though I was not posting here, I was still trying to get daily exercise and watched what I ate.25 -

My housemate is moving out by the middle of this month (she is a personal trainer so will be swopping rent for training sessions at one of her clients and can hopefully pay back the rent she owes me from this crazy year). I am using the opportunity to sort through all my belongings again and get rid of anything I haven’t used in 18 months (since I did this last). My plan is then to move into the room she is using and turn my current room into a training room. I started sorting a few cupboards and drawers in the kitchen today and then did some yoga before Jiu Jitsu (kids Coach and attend class). Caught an awesome live stream yoga class when I got home as well so I’m more than good on exercise. Food was good, all logged and under budget.16

Month #2 in the UAC group. Happy with how October went. Did well in the challenge and also took off 5 lbs along the way.
I am expecting November to be a challenging month. I would like to make the winner’s circle again, but at worst, I will accumulate the least number of passes I can. With all that will come at the end of the month (Nov 26 – 29), I need to really stay focused every day leading up to those dates.
For this round, I’m going to start logging my net calories since I think I should be looking into what portion of exercise calories I should be adding in. I have been getting some thoughtful input on this. There is likely going to be some evolution over the month, but I know there is a delicate and individual balance regarding total calories, I will update as I define. Starting the month on the same premise as October, with no exercise calories added.Date: 11/1

Already using my first pass day. England is going back into full lockdown from Thursday this week, so we decided to have one last meal out before that happens - food was good but far too much and not at all healthy. The rest of the week will be better!11

A beautiful fall day here. I walked with my husband and our border collie, Maggie. We try to do the same walk every day. I raked leaves, used my leaf blower and my hubby and I burned a pile of tree branches. I'm in a rural area and part of our property borders on a Forest Service property, so lots of places to walk. Yes I tracked my calories and yes today I stayed within my calorie goal. Onward to tomorrow. Yes on the 20 minutes of exercise.9
