The joy of a low-key day!

Last night before bed, I realized that I don't have any work Zoom call/meetings until the afternoon! Normally I need to be in front of my computer and working by 9 am, and my morning before work is pretty busy (I like to run early in the morning, before synagogue, and then go into work to get some "pre-work" done before meetings start).

Given the late first meeting, I decided to take advantage and sleep in a bit. I also decided to work from home today. So, it's 10:45 and I'm sitting around in sweaty running gear, taking care of some work stuff at a leisurely pace today. What a joy! I haven't had a day like this in ages!

Perhaps I should try to figure out how to plan for an occasional day like this. I bet it would do wonders for my mental heath.

Does anyone specifically try to schedule in leisurely days for work?

I don't "work" anymore, but I do volunteer work that makes mon-wed busy. So, I try to make Thurs a slow start kinda day. I'm not great at sleeping in, but I love to lay in bed and read for a while. Definitely good for mental health.

Yes but it seems to always get interrupted. :)
