I found it easier to stick to my meal plan as the week went on. I made some of my greasy favourites to ease into the transition. Egg and peameal bacon sandwiches and lettuce wrapped cheese burgers for lunch. Yum; it was so good. I think I’ll make it once a week.
I’m happy to see the numbers go down on the scale. I feel noticeably less bloated and my stomach feels flatter.

In the begining of the 2020 I was 72kg, so I guess I have to be happy I am "only" 70kg right now since I stopped active dieting. I only continued eating more or less the same stuff. My father passed away in May. My siblings are pressuring me to move out of his old house. I don't have enough credit to buy new studio apartment. So for now I am staying. But I started to eat more chips and more food altogether. I am lucky I didn't put on more stress eating weight.

    My goals for this month:

    1. Get to 72.5 kg
    2. Get 70k steps a week even if the days are short and wet
    3. Stay active despite lockdown and frozen shoulder

    02/11: 73.8
    03/11: 73.8
    ---
09/11: 74.0 Which I know is pretty high, I saw some lower numbers the last days. I feel I have to work harder than usual to drop the weight, I guess it might be hormonal and that a pre-menopausal change is happening.
10/11: 74.4 - Yesterday was a crazy working day and hubbie ended up preparing spaghetti bolognese late at night while I was still working. I gobbled down a double portion because I was starving, frustrated and tired. Of course, this shows today.
    11/11: 74.4
    12/11: 74.8
13/11: 74.8 - I've hit a plateau and it is frustrating. I'm eating well within my limits, I've amped up the exercise and then ... this. Ow well, nothing to do but stay patient. It will move eventually.
    14/11: 74.6
    15/11: 74.4
16/11: 74.1 - it is sooooo slow and I am wondering if it is hormonal or maybe my pain meds are interfering with my weight loss. I know my body full well by now and I know exactly what I need to eat and how much exercise I need to do. But this is caterpillar slow ... but at least it is downwards !
19/11: 73.8 - back to my starting weight of this month
    20/11: 74.8 - go figure
    21/11: 74.1
    22/11: 73.6
    23/11: 73.3 - something's moving:smiley:
    24/11: 73.5
    25/11: 73.7
    26/11: 73.6
    27/11: 73.6
    30/11: 73.8

Well, that means that I close the month at the exact same weight that I started with.
However, according to my weight app, I did loose 0.2kg per week on average, so all in all it is down.
Last weekend, I indulged a bit as my grand-nephew (who is the only grandchild in the family) celebrated his first birthday. A family member arranged to have a giant piece of birthday cake delivered to the whole family separately, and we celebrated online. I didn't know about it, so it wasn't planned and I went way over my cals. But it was worth it

Exit November, let's start the last month of the year !
