Well, I’ve never been to England, but yesterday, I saw the transplanted London Bridge. It was rebuilt in NW Arizona along beautiful Lake Havasu.
If you look close you can see 3 flags: the U.K Union Flag; the state flag of Arizona and the flag of the USA.

13th December.
Yes yes and yes.
Hve a fab day guys.9 -
I haven’t been logging my food for the last few days. Haven’t eaten too badly and exercise has been ok. It is crazy season in my life right now and with only a half team and no real breaks this year, I’m tired. But I only have 9 days of work left until I get a three week standby period (meaning I only go to work if something happens to the other team).
Found out we will probably have Jiu Jitsu grading at the end of January (depending on the COVID situation) so I have something to work towards. I always do my best at grading even if I’m far from my next belt, because it helps me find the weaknesses in my game.
Doing a 30 day yoga challenge which involves 10 minutes per day. 5 days down so far.9 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes walked a ton today (15k steps) but unfortunately my wife tripped and hurt herself somewhat.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes I didn't eat super well for lunch (especially dessert) but still well within calorie allowance due to extra cals from exercise.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes7 -

Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank?
Yes
I made the cookies for staying on track. They were good. It just had too much banana for me. Every bite had a taste of banana. So I would suggest using one and a half bananas instead of 3.

@Pearl0408 the recipe looks lovely thanks. And I love bananas!
@RangerRickL another lovely photo of you and Rose! I've always found the moving of the bridge such an odd idea! Some people say they thought they were buying Tower Bridge but who knows. The current London Bridge (in London!) has the same road go over it that continues to my town 30ish miles away so this feels like the closest we've come to meeting Rick! 🤣
On a more UAC related topic, pass again. I'm free again from self isolation tomorrow thank goodness and back to work so I'll be away from the constant temptation of boredom snacking!7 -

Logged, tracked have left over calories😊spin 20 minutes 4.5 miles.
I am trying really hard to get to my 2020 goal that I set for myself with spin for the year only 42.7 miles to go I know I can and I will. It may not be nsv yet but this will be it for me we each have things that can hold us back and mine are 2 screws in my radial head of my arm and OA in both knees BUT I will not give up!! I find if I continue to be active I am more productive and have a little less pain most days that ibuprofen can help with best of luck to everyone as we work to get through December 🎄10 -

I walked on the treadmill twice today, plus my c25k (w4d3). It was just a little too chilly outside for me and I was being lazy. Lol. I ate a small dinner tonight even though I wasn't hungry. We're almost half way through the month and I still have 6 lbs to go to my mini goal of 175 by Christmas Day! Yikes!!
Love the London Bridge pics Rick.... especially the one with you and Rose in it! Great pic!6 -

@Bill70sStrong Tough is an understatement for you!
@snowshoe072 I agree it’s amazing that moving can make the pain less. You go!!! Do you mind sharing what the total mile goal was for 2020?
3X’s yes. Great on calories. 30 minutes of spin plus walked for an hour and twenty minutes at a brisk pace with lots of hills-covered just under 5 miles. I am working on my form and setting walking goals. If all I can do is walk- I’m going to walk like a champ.7 -
@lalabank 480 miles that was my total some months were really bad especially with the humidity but very close now3

Though I know weight numbers are not the primary focus for us here in the UAC, I want to share that for November (a fairly challenging calorie month) I managed to get rid of 7.2 pounds, and for the October Challenge another -5.0. I am now weighing slightly less than October 2019, which seems like a miracle. Target weight is in sight (129-130 – weight at my nephew’s May 2019 wedding) and doable in the next couple months. I am grateful for the results. Also notable for the November UAC, I entered and walk/ran a virtual 5K. I looked at the results and I came in 154/357 for total entries, 87/234 female, and 19/87 over 50 female. I would have been happy if I even came in last, because I entered. Being in the top 50% is super motivating even though I know this kind of race is not full of competitive runners.
So now for my December UAC. I am starting by raising my daily target calories by 50, and will be re-evaluating this every 10 days, as I want to start easing into my eventual maintenance calories. I don’t want to get go from lower calories to higher calories in a single day. I will be trying my best for the Winner’s circle, but need to be realistic and will at least commit to showing up daily and aiming to be a champion and aim to clean off 2 more pounds during December. Then, during my next 9 days in the Keys, I plan to walk/run to Sombrero Beach and even try to get you a sunrise photo (will take some planning ) and get back home. Google maps claims the distance is 3.3 miles each way. At for the rest of the month, my brain can only cope with planning til the 12th. Will regroup again once up north again.
BTW in November, I did not opt for eating back my “exercise” calories like I had planned. My problem with the method of eating back each day’s exercise calories is that that calorie number not compatible with advance planning and tracking, and I like to plan and pre-track my days. So this is the reason I am going try upping my planned daily calories instead and that way I can continue with the pre-tracking that works well for me.
Here we go!

*** MFP considers me under my calories for the day, but I am still currently not eating back exercise calories. So, Pass #1 used, but worth it – Oysters Rockefeller, and dinner of Seared scallops over Succotash with asparagus and a bacon ju. Lovely meal – no drinks or dessert. Ironic part is I was hungry by the time I got home. Speculating is that I will not make the winner’s circle this month, but still going to keep it in mind cause you never know.

*** got in exercise before showering and packing, and then, when we discovered the airport restaurant was not open due to lack of customers, my “healthy planned airport dinner” became a boar’s head snack pack from newsstand, plus two airline cheez-its and 100 cal pack of skinny pop. Macros were not great, but calories stayed under goal!!

@Bill70sStrong Get well soon, my friend! You are an amazing person and very fit for life!3
-
@am_change I'm glad you are well and out of 'self-isolation". The real estate developer really did not care which London Bridge he bought, as he just needed a 'London Bridge" to lure people to drive 145 miles east of Las Vegas, NV. When they got to the bridge, they were swarmed by real estate sales people. The location is east of the California state line and alongside a lake.
His London Bridge and shrewd marketing was a brilliant, although somewhat risky, success.
