Wednesdays my husband and I usually order out. Also, I babysat my niece today and made dirt cake with her. With a calorie deficit of over 300 calories, I did quite a bit of exercising at night to make up for it and ended 200 calories under for the day.7 -

pass day
Kind of a pass day due to not paying attention.Starting off the month a bit left footed.
Weather isn't helping. Cold and snow for my exercise on day.
My weight isn't too bad. GW + 2.5 or so.
But December is when things go wrong for me and I gain winter weight.
I always swear that I am not going to let that happen.
I had a good November. Got upwards of 25,000 of climb. That is kind of like 12,000 exercise calories. I am getting close to a million of climb. Likely to happen this month if weather doesn't smack me down.
Bar chart of my elevation gain for 2020 not looking too bad.
But I can kind of see what happens to my exercise in winter.
Used to like going to sit on a spin bike in the gym in winter.
That ain't working out lately.
Got some PRs in November.6 -

@Dory_42 - glad to hear your negative but still scary. I’m glad you’re taking care.

Tracking: Yes
Calories: under but had to eat back most of my exercise calories. It was a friend’s birthday. 4 of us bundled up (I actually had my ski pants and jacket on) for a social distanced and masked walk (we learned that masks keep the wind off our faces like a scarf), had cocktails and cake outside, around a raging fire. It was nice, although way too cold and way too long for my arthritis. I seem to be able to handle the cold but not the cold, wind, and high humidity combined. I will have to figure out which parts of the equation do not work. I’m working on a formula: C +/- W +/- HH x time = favorable conditions for walking. 🤔
Exercise: Yes, walk 2 hours
Pass days to date - 07 -
Regular workout (30 min) and a short walk, over 100 cal left and sleep just about enough to not make me use a pass!8

Ok, I'm coming out of the Covid closet after reading your post about fatigue.
After Rose and I returned from Yellowstone National Park at the end of September, she became very fatigued. Rose is a retired R.N. and has a high pain tolerance. We stayed home and 24hours later, I got what felt like my usual 'change of weather" asthma related congestion, sore throat, and mild flu-like symptoms. Both of us passed through that dip in health after 4 days of mild symptoms. 2 weeks later when Rose went to our primary care physician for her annual wellness visit, he ordered Covid antibody lab tests for both of us. This is one test for which one would like to test positive...and we did.
Your labs have been great! You are very healthy and fit. You may or may not have more than a "24 hour" something, but Rose always says, "The only 24 illness is mild food poisoning."
Just FYI....7 -
Exercise: more than one hour of a mix of active stretching; walking and horse related activities
Tracking: good
Calories: under my limit6 -

@RangerRickL
SO glad you are both okay.
My guess is it WAS mild food poisoning... strawberries?!! Or pretty awful multiple interrupted nights of sleep (multiple times each nt) by our aged cat.
I was all better 24-36 hrs later. I DID think of getting a COVID test & after your experience, I definitely will if this returns.
THANK YOU, Rick.6 -
@Dory-42 So happy to hear you dont have covid!
@SummerSkier Love your beautiful pic on your horse.
@GrandmaJackie What an adorable pic of your pug!
@RangerRickL Glad to hear you and your wife didn't have covid when you tested!
@dsgoingtodoit Loved picture of cute doggie you watch petsitting! You asked question about eating exercise calories back. When I first started UAC in October I did eat all, or most of my exercise calories back. I needed them when I first started because it was a shock how much I actually was eating to what I was supposed to eat. As the weeks went on and better food choices were made I began to eat less of those calories back. Now I rarely eat them back, but if I do, I make sure I have at least 400 calories left over from exercise that don't get ate back. Now if I have a day I am super hungry, happens sometimes, and I don't feel like exercising more to earn back an extra 400 to have left over if I eat some exercise calories, then I don't worry about it and I eat them! If that isn't happening that much, and it isn't, I don't worry about it because I feel they are there to be used if you need them. I am kinda doing same thing as Dory-42. We both are just tweaking the way we do it to fit what works for us!
