Trying small changes in a chaotic time

Between the pandemic, house damage from falling trees, and the stress of online schooling my kids, I am just trying to maintain tiny goals each day for myself. Every other minute is spent on preventing danger, damage, or worry about safety for my family. I'm guessing I'm not the only woman here dealing with these kinds of stresses in these chaotic times.

My current situation is as follows:

Highest weight 255 lbs.
Current weight 233 lbs.
November goal weight 230 lbs.

All I'm doing right now is tracking calories and trying to stay between 1,800 and 2,200 each day. (about 300-500 below my maintenance calorie)
And, walking the 6,000 steps a day plan on MFP.

With these two things, I'm doing okay so far. But, I'm curious what are others doing this month to try and maintain a healthier lifestyle?
