Hello and Happy Wednesday team and welcome to the new members!
@Cafelelia I will miss your postings and tips - good luck and it's been nice corresponding with you!
@aknroberts I was thinking your temperature was close to mine here in Michigan USA, but then I realized "holy smoke - I am like 32 F and you are like 90 F!" Big temperature difference. Is this like your summer - or is it always that warm where you live? Welcome to the group!
@callsitlikeiseeit I love your dog pictures - those are huge dogs! My little grandpuppy is like 3 pounds and I couldn't even guess the difference in weight with your dogs - other than he is about the size of their head! Welcome to the group!
@cyndiesstuff nice to see you again! I hope everything has been good for you!2 -

They are both about 150 pounds now. They will top out around the 200 pound point LOL My goal is to weigh LESS than THEM

Here are some thoughts about wasting food that might be running around in your head:
It will go to waste, eat it now.
It will never be this good again.
I still have food on my plate.
I can’t leave food on my plate.
There are starving children.
It’s there, I should eat it.
I may never have this again.
It’s so delicious.
It’s there.
I’m not a wasteful person.
I just want it.
These are just thoughts about wasting food. But isn't the truest form of wasting food eating when our body doesn’t require it?6 -

Exactly what I was once told and always remembered: your body isn't a rubbish bin, don't eat food just because it's there. It will go to waste either way if you're not hungry and don't need it.
Which also reminds me of one shameful moment back when I was 320+ lbs and my kids were little. As many mothers do, I had a habit of eating leftovers from my kids' plates. One day my son, who was maybe 5ish, told me he was leaving some of his food on his plate for me because "you get hungry mummy". I was literally taking food out of his mouth. And that was the day I stopped eating food off their plates, even if they were done.5 -
Tuesday 12/29
Too much food and no exercise except for a few stretching exercises for my back. Not sure how much water I had but it was more than I've had in a while.
I spent most of the day at my sister's house visiting with her and my youngest nephew and his family. We ptetty much just hung out and played a couple of board games, which was nice.
Wednesday 12/30
Food: ok
Water: not much
Exercise: stretching exercises, shoveling wet, heavy snow and 30 minutes walking around my living room while I was on the phone
We got a lot of snow last night, probably 3 or 4 inches and then some rain on top of that. I shoveled the snow before we got too much of the rain. I was careful because of my back issue but it went pretty well. I had a chiropractor appointment this morning and then went to church for a couple of hours to help out with some office work. We got a lot done but are going back tomorrow for a couple hours to finish the project.

@sleepymom5
Thanks, I know it will get better. I had a chiropractor appointment this morning and asked if maybe I wasn't moving enough. He said it was possible so I'm going to try and walk around my living room more.
Too much snow and ice to walk outside right . I am going to start working with my trainer on Monday again so we'll see how that goes. Since it's been hurting I haven't done much exercise and probably have been sitting more than I should be.3 -

Hi lovelies,
Just dropping in to wish you all a very Happy New Year! I braved the scales again on Monday - it was not pretty lol. Still, am starting to get the motivation back and have been 'behaving' this week - even managed some exercise in the snow Going to have a pretty quiet night tonight (aren't we all?) but hope you all have fun whatever you're doing. Will come back to weigh-ins for the new thread on Sunday - looking forward to getting back on track.5 -
I am an amazing person.

20 lbs down total! Still 15 lbs up from March but seeing my overall loss is a big motivator.4 -

I dug out my bike/rower last night. Going to dust it off and commit to 20 minutes minimum per day to get my body back in motion. I know once I start it will motivate me to add more exercise. I did some batch cooking yesterday (which I actually do enjoy) and I'm going to research some other snack ideas that I can have ready and I enjoy. Usually, if I get too hungry I will go for a quick chocolate covered granola bar (or 2!) and they are 140 calories each. A hard boiled egg, homemade energy balls usually do the trick, but I do know I need a bit of variety too 😊 Happy New Years!!!6

Ouch! Not good at all. These last several months (basically since covid began) I have not been focused at all and have had a steady gain. I looked on my records and see that I am 13 pounds heavier than Dec. 31 of last year. Hubby and I have recommitted to a better 2021 and began today to work on our individual goals. Here's to the end of 2020 and on to a better 2021.5 -

I am not going to stress over it. I feel like I am retaining fluid. Not the number I wanted to end the year at but overall I had a good December and I am just going to keep moving forward! Or downward...
We left early for the shore so I don't have time to check in today. I will catch up tomorrow or Saturday.
Happy New Year's Eve everyone!

Hello Everyone!
There have been a few updates to how we record weights in the spreadsheet, namely a tracker for everyone's Loss-to-Date so that the moderators and the leadership team can keep track of milestones. In order to do this for everyone, I am requesting everyone's highest weights, whether that's where you started on MFP, where you started with F2F, or some other time in your life.
While you do not need to provide this value, it does help with the numerical analysis of everyone's weights and assists in properly congratulating people for their accomplishments.
Big Welcome to @lemonaid7 and @justmeagain275x !!!! Let us know if you have any questions about the group, how F2F works, how to participate, etc. Your first weigh-in will be on the new Team Weight No More thread next week on the day you chose when you registered with the group.3 -

It's nice to have someone else from down under (even if it's Australia 😛) Jokes aside, I'm a Kiwi, and I did live in Melbourne for 5 years or so. I don't miss the 40+ C days. I'm in Auckland now, we're in the mid-high 20s C here every day.2 -
So many new members - welcome to all, and a happy new year!
It's the morning after the night before here... hello from the future. 2021 has not brought flying cars with it, damn.
My daughter (17) went to a NY party last night and needed a pick up at 1am, when we got there she decided to stay the night. But we chilled for a bit with her friends' parents, got home around 2.30am. Then I couldn't sleep until after 4! I feel wrecked today, no alcohol involved. My cat was also meowing his head off at 5.45am demanding that I follow my usual routine and get up for the gym. He eventually gave up because I wasn't budging!
I ate a bit too much, but really looking forward to this year and seeing the progress I can make 🙂4
