WELCOME to all walkers!
The December Walk Challenge starts in a day or two
, therefore it is a good time to be thinking about our new challenge goals for next month!
Having Leslie's, or other walking or workout DVDs, can be a great alternative to walking outdoors in the freezing cold or snowy days of December when it is difficult to get outside for a walk. For some of us, walking outdoors might still be a pleasant alternative to using a DVD, on those bright, sunny winter days.
This group is open to any and all walkers. The majority of us use Leslie Sansone Walk At Home DVD workouts as well as other workout instructors to mix it up. However you get your walk in or your workout done, come on in and join us! Post your miles, steps, or minutes that you have walked, however you record it... it is all good, and hopefully fun also!
We are a happy, supportive group, and joining this walk challenge will motivate, challenge, as well as inspire you!
It doesn't matter which day of the month that you join in if you find this challenge during the month. Just set your goals to reflect what you want to do for the remaining days in the month.
So... please feel free to start today, so that by the end of the month you will be that much closer to your health goals. It is never too late in the month to join
I know that we are all excited to see our long time faithful walking friends
join us for yet another amazing month together, and we are awaiting the opportunity to welcome newcomers to this month's Walk Challenge, the last one for 2020!
Lace up those walking shoes and get some water...it's time to walk strong into December.
We are walking strong, together!

30 minutes easy and inside- first walk in days. Hard to get back into healthy living after a long extended weekend (week?) of naughty eats all day everyday.2

@mypinkbikini yep! Thanksgiving and other treats can hardly be contained to one day or weekend sometimes 😁😋🤣 . Great comeback walk 😅!!
@AnnofB Well thought out goal for December! There is definitely a lot of other activity in addition to scheduled workouts going on to keep us moving this month! Awesome LS walk!
My goal for this month will again be to keep moving by walking, using the rebounder, working outdoors🌻 🍂, or other activities and exercise.

Another hour today -30 outside in the cold unintentionally and 30 inside with a holiday show. Had planned to do it all very differently today but a little medical thing threw my day all outta whack!!! Good news is everyone's fine here and we intentionally spread a little holiday cheer with sweet gifts to some important people afterwards and that felt really good.
Nothing going to throw off my holiday spirit this month!2 -
@mypinkbikini I'm certainly happy for you all that all is well! You finished two good walks even though it was a difficult day!

Hi Mary! You know how this month can be with commitments, even in this time of Covid19. And my little man is a demanding little pup.

1 hour indoors moving as fast as I could really tired me out but I'm feeling a lot better than I have the last few days and I've been really conscientious about my calorie intake without sacrificing desserts, drinks and the meals I wanted to eat. Focus is 100 percent on staying healthy physically for another month with some leeway for the stuff I enjoy by continuing to increase calories and maintain my weight through it all.
Hope Everyone has a happy and healthy holiday week/ end of the year !!2 -
@mypinkbikini - Sounds like a good plan. Hope you enjoy this holiday season too. 🎄🎆🎇🎈✨2
