Yup, keep me on the list as I didn't mess it up today lol Over the last part of the month, I think my brain was bored and my body was tired. But having the workout program switch up a bit today was helpful.
Also, I did 15 regular, off-the-knee pushups today. I started the year...THIS YEAR...thinking I'd be lucky to ever get 10 done.

Great weekend although it was all pass days. No cellphone signal and lots of sun and fun with friends.
Morning run on Friday, 10 km hike on Saturday and 5 km hike on Sunday plus regular walks to the rock pool to go swimming. Slept looking at the stars both nights. Board games with friends and playing with their kids. And then coffee and a walk my man on Sunday afternoon.
I will start logging again from tomorrow morning. Definitely need to get back on track.

Gonna close the month out by using my first pass day. Iβm making the boys rustic Italian bread and potato, leek, and cheddar soup for dinner and after kneading the bread and seeing 24 inches of snow in the forecast - I just want to enjoy dinner and not worry about it today. π¬π€·π»ββοΈ
I did get my class in at the gym AND had a depressing body scan this morning. I def made progress in the last year but not as much as I would have liked. I had a moment to be depressed about it, now Iβm taking the night off to eat soup and bread and tomorrow Iβll be back at it ready to win February.
So yes on exercise and tracked, but no on calories. First pass day used.

My calorie rule for January UACDefining, for myself more than anything, what is the definition of my daily calorie goal. For Oct and Nov, I used 1430 and not eating back exercise. December, I raised that to 1480 with no additional calories for exercise. For January, I am going to try a blended rule; either Food calories under 1480, or Net calories (ie Food minus exercise) under 1200. So, if my exercise burns less than 280 on a given day, there is no added calories. BUT, if I exercise more, I have the option additional food OR if I overeat, I have the option of exercising more to not use a pass day. This flexibility was not something I allowed in my previous rounds. Once I exceeded my goal calories, regardless of my exercise burn. Also, I am defining that I am using the MFP estimate for the caloric burn from exercise. I know I could get different numbers elsewhere, but I am going to use only the one source β good or bad.Date: 1/1

October, and I was a weight of 149! I currently weigh today 120! I lost 29 pounds in 4 short months and a week! It was NOT as hard as I thought, but it was NOT that easy at times either! I could NOT have done it without Rick and him starting this AMAZING group, and ALL of you who continue to post encouragement, empathy, love, and support to me and us all!
