There are only a few days left in the month of January, so it's time to start raising your hand to declare if you expect to qualify for the Winner's Circle.
If you have MORE than 3 Pass Days, and you are still posting, you are doing great and you will be counted a Champion!

I also wanted to say that I've just spent an hour this morning going back and reading posts for the last 10 days or so that were posted AFTER mine. In doing so I came across @dewit 's post about not coming back to the UAC in Feb and her reasons..... First of all, I want to say PLEASE consider coming back. I enjoy reading your posts, even tho I sometimes don't get "back" to read them for several days.
Dewit's comment has also helped me to realize that I need to go back (DAILY) and read what other people have posted AFTER me since I often post early because I go to bed so early. I'm posting this here in the daily thread because I sent Dewit a message and was not sure that she would get it (since we are not "friends"). Anyways, I too am a "work in progress" ....... and hope that nothing that I have said (or NOT said) has offended anyone. I hope y'all have a wonderful Wednesday!12 -

A great session today. I decided to invest in working on an aspect of my training that I'm not good at and we don't get a chance to work on in class by paying one of our fight team for a private session. He doesn't charge much and its basically his only way of making money, so I can easily fit a couple of sessions in a month and it will definitely help my game. Then kids class.
Food was reasonable although I didn't log again.
Not a winner this month, but still a champion (although I may not log in on the final weekend as we are going camping).7 -

@RangerRickL I have not had to use any pass days and do not expect to do so this month.7 -
At zero passes remaining, but have not gone negative....yet. Do see a reason that I will? No, but surprises can happen. Completed 4 rounds "losing" in the UAC. For February, I will be changing over to maintaining, which will be interesting. Took off 25+ lb since Sept 14, and am under my planned goal of 129 and back to over 40 down from my high weight in 2001. If I "accidentally" lose a couple more while learning to maintain, I will not cry. :P11

Can I just note that one unintended side effect of this challenge is that for the first time in like 9 months, I haven't lost track of what day it is since I have to post every night? It's almost like I'm regaining my sanity back! Almost. LOL.12 -

Got everything done for today I am so proud of myself to say that I have been able to keep up with my medicine ball and add extra reps every other day. I was very hesitant to try as I was fearful of creating more elbow issues and how do you explain that to the orthopedic doc? But very glad I tried so that proves the point that it’s ok to take a step over into the uncomfortable zone we are stronger then we think. We are able to accomplish more then what we give ourselves credit for at times let’s all keep up our good work3

Today was stressful, but instead of stress-eating (my usual response), I decided to go for a walk when I'd finished teaching for the day. I wasn't in the mood to walk at all, and I was moving pretty slowly--but I'm still proud of making that choice. And I'm pretty sure I'll qualify for the winner's circle!

Also, I got on the scale today and didn't lose a pound but did lose 4 inches, so I'm happy about that today. Looking forward to February to start weight training. It's been a good month and glad I found this group.
