I did extremely well until night again. I don't know if my body just needed extra calories. I should have hydrated myself better. There was no excuse, but I think I learned something from this.4 -

It’s now the “morning after” and I came to my computer with my coffee to update yesterday’s post, and then I see @RangerRickL ‘s kind words, which makes this update all that more important.
So 8:30 last night, kitchen was closed, my remaining Kung Pao Chicken was stored away for today, and my 1/8/21 UAC post was up. All is good, right??
Well, about an hour later, the Kung Pao disappeared (no one is home but me), and when I got up this morning, the house alarm was never set, and below was the state of my cats' feeders. Yes, there should be food bowls inside.
So while I am working on changes in my behaviors that could be deemed inspiring (Thank you, Ranger Rick). The reality is that not every day works out as planned. Today is a new day, and I am ready to move on. Still proud of 95% of my day yesterday where I chose to mindfully “earn” a treat, but I am reminded that the other 5% (leftover Chinese takeout) can still be a trigger for me. All and all, my TDEE vs consumption was only 424 over. Not as bad as I imagined. Thank you tracking habit for making me aware!!

Pass day #2. I tracked and stayed within my calorie budget, but I fell asleep before I could squeeze my workout in. Exercising on work days (Mon-Fri) is my biggest challenge, and 3 out of 5 this past week is a level I'm happy with, UAC rules notwithstanding.3

6 mile walk this morning- I started walking to work which I am finding a beautiful balance to a day at the library. It’s really a less then a mile walk to work but I’ve been taking crazy meandering 4-5 mile routes on the way there.5 -
