Question about slipping out of ketosis

Fellow ketogenic dieters, I have a question for you. We all know that a certain amount of fruit and vegetables can be consumed while still remaining in ketosis. I've found that anything under 70 carbs keeps me in the zone (which totals to about 2 cups of veggies and 2 cups of fruit.) So, today, I found myself out of ketosis. Do you think WHEN you eat the produce can affect it? Like I ate mine all at once. Maybe it was too much of a punch of carbs for one sitting?

Yes. If you didn't have fat with it, that could be the issue too.

If you have been in ketosis for a while, your body is more efficient in dealing with the ketones so the stix are alot less accurate, just look for the other signs that you are in it.

Being low fat can knock you out of it, or going too high protein .

Thank you, you guys. I'm going to be much more careful. Today, I was back in full-blown keto, so I had my produce with breakfast, lunch, and snacks. But I went straight protein and fat with dinner. I hope this prevents it from happening again.
