Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes again just for uac but so glad i did it. Started workout at 9.20pm i was clearly procrastinating. 20 min stretching and abs.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes well under.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes5 -
Ermagah, I didn't log in for so long and so much life happened...
@SummerSkier, @dsgoingtodoit, @pamjsa (and perhaps @newbie2143?!) you're all in TX area with no power and my heart goes out to you all!
@idoliov You mentioned, at one point, the importance of sleep. I agree 100% and hope you're able to find a restorative routine for yourself.
@dewit You said you were bored with your lifting program. Sis, me too lol but, I mean, the results are showing up so I keep going even though I may skip a day or two...or, ahem, more.
@BobWw2017 This whole time, I didn't realize you were Canadian. I'm waving to you from Montreal. Keep staying safe out there: the "Atlantic Bubble" was a great effort!
@omd79 Happy to see you staying accountable day over day with your posts. That's what the UAC is all about!
@fractaltiger My kids are big (16 and 20) but I still buy kid books..and toys. Please, don't judge me. All I'm saying is I'll read your books!! 🙌🏿 lol
@Bill70sStrong You had a "lazy day" last week and I marked it as "Inspiring" since we all need one of those days on occasion.
@mshawski That was not only a cute ring but a CUTE nail color! What is the brand and colour, please?
@Katiecan2021 If your mini eggs are Cadbury's then we have them in Canada too 🤫
@lesdarts180 Glad you're back home and managed to get your son to see his grandmother for a few days. So sweet!
@SModa61 Other factors to consider? Hormones! It is our blessing as women lol And that's for perimenopause and menopause. Oh, the fun. Regardless, it sounds like you're well on track for your goals. But if you're still really concerned about how what could impact you from a hormonal POV, then perhaps consider speaking to an endocrinologist who specializes in women's health and/or nutrition. This is like the 20% of Pareto Principle though.
As for me, UAC family, I've been struggling with sticking to my workout routine (err, boredom) and my nutrition (undereating) for several days. So while I've caught up in terms of accountability and don't officially have "pass days" the undereating (and not meeting my protein goals) is getting a touch worrisome.
I expect to be back on my intended workout program today (as opposed to walking non-stop lol) and have been playing with more nutrient-dense foods and different carb/fat ratios. I've also been more diligent about taking my vitamins/supplements to cover any potential micronutrient gaps.
In short, I'm confused as all get out but hanging in there 🤷🏾♀️13 -
It's been warm here today! Sorry for those shivering etc!
Exercise yes 20 min quigong, 60 min gardening glorious!
Tracking yes calories yes6 -

Tracking has been dodgy the last few days....need to pick it up though. Exams start next week and if I’m not tracking my calorie budget will go out the window 😂6 -

@MaltedTea Awesome, another variable! :P Thanks for the ideas. I'm giving it time and seeing how it all shakes out. Nothing crazy is happening, up or down, so there is no rush. I'm just trying to figure out how to figure out how to maintain (great sentence, huh?). As for you, do you feel that there are known roots behind the under eating and under target protein or determining that your first step? BTW love your profile pic, my favorite so far!
Today, I had an adventure. We got out our brand new bikes. Last time I rode a bike, I had no children, and that was one ride in the 1980's, and I quit mid-ride. The time before that, had to be some time in the 1970's, and where I grew up there were hills in every direction so I NEVER was a bike rider. Anyhow, we went out and rode 6.55 miles before stopping at a dive bar for a margarita (burned 200 calories and drank 400, but all tracked!). It was my first margarita of 2021. Then we rode home the remaining .8 miles. For the ride, I only crashed into ONE pole (Please note it was BEFORE THE DRINK) and ran over one set of bushes. Skinned my arm, banged my knee, and glad for my helmet. I think I need to get a better handle on the braking system. :P But, I did it!!! Next time should be better!9 -
A good night's sleep, not too much appetite and a long hike. Way under the calories today.4
-
@SModa61 - your bike story is hilarious. Glad you got out and had so much fun (well, except for the skinned arm and banged up knee part).
All of you in Texas - wish I could do something to help - even as a northerner I can't imagine what you're going through!
Tony and I ran/walked 7 miles today. Hallelujah!!!
Tracked food - haven't had dinner yet but am tracking ahead
Calories - I'll be well under today.
Passes: 44 -

Exercise: yes, bike ride 25 minutes, cardio 40+ minutes.
Tracking: yes
Calories: yes
Pass days used: 0/3
I will admit now that while I was away, I was answering “yes” to the tracking and calorie questions with my fingers crossed because I had to estimate a lot. However, on Monday am (before I left) I weighed in at 47.6 kg and on Saturday am I weighed in at 47.3 kg (and the same this morning) so I lost weight over the time I was away. So, my logging and tracking was good enough and I don’t have to retrospectively declare any pass days.
PS I’m supposed to be trying to put on a kg not lose it.

Today I started again the challenge with my niece. I guess I'm well enough comparing it to last Sunday. I'll think about an easy to make nutritionist meal, so I don't stumble like before. Only one week lift of February, we can do this!!5 -
Exercise - yes lots, 35 minutes Pilates, 30 minutes exercise bike, 50 minute walk
Tracking - yes
Calories - yes
I wrote myself a to do list last night - of jobs and a few nice things. It kept me busy today, I’ve decluttered, planned for the week, had a lovely bath and washed sooo many things. Without boredom eating it was super easy to stay under calories with no effort. And I got loads done, win win. Just about to write tomorrow’s list then I’m back to work on Tuesday.
@MaltedTea yes Cadbury’s!I love everything about them.
@SModa61 well done on the bike ride. It’s so refreshing to do new things....and to have a margarita of course!4 -
Exercise? No
Calories? Yes.
Logged? Yes.
5/3 pass days used.
Was dizzy and faint most of the day. Am going in for blood tests tomorrow to check my chronic anemia and see if I can start epogen treatments.

@SummerSkier How do you upload photos as spoilers?
@oh_jackie you can type [$poiler] before the pic and then [/$poiler] after the picture. (I used the $ instead of the lowercase letter s so that I could show you what to type. There's also a paragraph symbol in the bar across the top of the comment box that you type in...the dropdown there will show you "Quote", "Code", and "Spoiler". If you choose SPOILER, then you need to put the picture in between the [$spoiler][/$poiler].
For me, it's just easier to type it.3 -

Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank?✅4 -
Ugh. Posted to the wrong day and can’t see how to delete it so... sorry for the redundancy.
2/21/21 ✅✅✅
Almost used my 3rd pass day that I was saving for next weekend but instead I just jumped on the treadmill for 35 min to run off the cake I couldn’t say no to after having pizza for dinner 😬. 45 minute circuit training class, 35 minutes on the treadmill, calories under and tracked though admittedly not the smartest choices.
One pass day still stands!4
