A planned pass day for me as it was my husband’s birthday and there was take out, cake and wine and zoom drinks with friends. It was super fun, I still did lots of exercise in the day as I went for an hour and a half walk with my mum and did my usual exercise bike and Pilates. I’m writing this the morning after the night before with a slightly fuzzy head, that was only my second time having a drink in 2021 and I think it will be a little while til my next one. It is soooo much easier to stay on track without it and i feel better the next day without it too!
Love reading everyone’s NSVs. Mine is that my clothes feel so much nicer on and that I recognise myself again in them. (Next step is to shrink out of them, but I’m happy with my progress so far!)8 -

1️⃣ Pass Day Used so far
In Maintenance! 🎖
NSV:
1. Figured out what was triggering my mouth hunger and faster eating.
2. Then I felt the feelings, cried a bit, & realized eating too much every day, sugar, & Starbucks was not going to fix it. In fact, it would give me 2 things to fix. Changed instantly.
3. Realized when the scale goes up I get in a very confused state even though all the data is there. Noting this for future.
4. Created a delicious Greek salad that I eat often. Inventing new dressings for other days!
5. Made up two affirmations: “I will feel, not feed, the troublesome feelings.”
Leafy greens each day 🥬 keeps the Alzheimer’s at bay. (I’m at increased risk.)
Our cat is dying. She’s had a long healthy life until the past day or two. 3-months shy of 18 years. I’m grateful for her companionship through the past 5+ years especially. She’s my baby; I’m going to miss her greatly. I will feel the feelings. Remember the memories.
We’re not likely to get another as much as we love cats. Not recommended with the transplant, but we couldn’t part with her. Also, much more difficult to travel. Tough call- so warm & cuddly & cute.
We got her & her sister (orphans/strays left behind by their mother) at 2 weeks old in 2003. Our son left for college a year later, so this will be the first time of real freedom.
We’re both crying.13 -

@reachedmylimit That does not sound like a small amount! I can't even do one. I am super impressed!
@MadisonMolly2017 I am so sorry to hear about your kitty.😿 Even though your kitty had a long life, their time with us seems so short. Hugs.5 -

Thanks to this group, I have been tracking the food I eat for three and a half months. It makes all the difference. Feeling really good about the weight I have lost. Thanks.8

One for three for me, and I've used more than my allotted Pass Days.
But I'm doing waaaaayy better than these stats would tell you. I'm highly engaged right now, I just haven't dialed in the exercise. I'm also consistently chipping away at the weight.

Thank you @Bovaryoo - yes, so true. Never long enough. Very kind of you 💝3 -
My nsv is taking a step I’ve been contemplating for a while and starting weekly sessions with a psychologist. My initial reason was related to a mental block I have at training but after just two sessions I can see it goes deeper. Working through this will definitely improve my Jiu Jitsu and other aspects of my life.9

Thank you @Mrs_Hoffer. No, it’s really not, but all your hugs & messages help & taking extra long hikes seems to be helping a lot, too.

@MadisonMolly2017 So sorry to hear about your kitty. We love our furry friends.
@znaoiec Thank you so much! Yes, we certainly do. Her fur is the silkiest and softest it’s ever been.
She comforted & distracted me after I had to stop working, through my severe CKD, through going through transplant recipients screening, and re overt from transplant & my broken arm. When one transplant team told me in April 2017 I’d have to get rid of our cat If I had a transplant, I sobbed multiple nights. Luckily I got a donor & a great surgeon at another hospital & they just said don’t clean litter box.
Sorry rambling. Thank you again ((hugs))2
