Back for another month with UAC. Have been back on track with my goals and am working on weight loss. This month I'm going to try something new and stop eating by 8pm at least 5 days a week. Doing this so I stop snacking late at night, which has been more and more tempting to me lately.4

As some of you may know, I have been in and out of this challenge for some time. I am still trying, and even regularly succeeding, to get into a healthy lifestyle, with regular, healthy meals, exercise and tracking! Especially the latter is difficult for me sometimes, although I am not great on exercise either during these lockdown times! However, I am not giving up and this community is very supportive.8

Hi! I'm just getting the hang of the MFP platform, so bear with me. I was pleased to find this group because my primary goal is to stick to controlled eating and daily exercise and hopefully make it part of my life forever. I'm not significantly overweight, but could use to shed a few pounds and be healthier, but mostly I want to be fitter and stronger so I can continue to do the things I love (hiking, horseback riding) for many years to come (I'm 55 yo). I've only been at this for about a week, but I feel good, and it's doing a wonder for my overall attitude.5

I posted this in the wrong thread I think. Sorry for the double post.
Is it ok if I start this late for March?
I also wanted to thank those that reached out to me when I was not online. I have briefly mentioned in the past I have been dealing with my abusive ex. I am in the middle of a nasty battle. So I needed to take time away from social media. I am not sure how comfortable I am posting about this yet, since I am still in the middle of it. Plus I am afraid of my ex and how he manipulates things.
However, I need to focus on my goals, and the future I have been working so hard to achieve for me and my son. Plus the stress level I have currently is extremely high and I am starting to experience chest pains, which scares me as well. I need to achieve my health goals now more than ever.5 -
@KCJen Any time is the right time!
Glad to hear that you're taking care of yourself in the midst of the turmoil. Your privacy and safety is paramount so do whatever you feel is best for you and your son. You may be in a valley now but you're obviously focused on the peak. Let us know how we can be helpful to you along the way3 -
This is my first month with UAC. Looking forward to achieving the goals set. I’m 37 and have been overweight since 13 and was finally inspired during the pandemic to start on a healthy routine. I’ve lost 30 pounds since I started and have another 50 pounds to go. Looking forward to getting inspired and motivated to continue this journey
