@mojo2325, yesterday gave us this thought to live by
"I came across this the other day, and even though I know how goals are important...I think I will just repeat this to myself each morning lol... I can't manage what you don't measure and you can't improve upon something that you don't properly manage. So off to manage the rest of my day"

@mojo2325 Your comment yesterday really struck me as well. In fact, it was one of the first things I thought about this morning when I got up. I was coming to today's thread to comment on it and see that @RangerRickL already has! But I want to say DITTO! I've written this down and posted it to my bathroom mirror! Thanks for sharing!!4 -

Exercise was just work but that included jumping in and scrubbing the island clean when we shock treated the pool then coaching kids Jiu Jitsu.
After a crazy busy day at work I stopped for coffee and food on the way to kids Jiu Jitsu and ended up getting too much so Iβm on pass day 1 for the month.10 -

@Dory_42 - not gonna lie - I had to read your post a few times, each time thinking "no, I'm reading that wrong" - only to realize that yep, it was really as gruesome as I thought. Thanks to you - I'll probably have a sweet nightmare tonight. OR my hubby will wake up wondering why I'm gumming his head.
@TerriRichardson112 - beautiful flower - spring is on the way! Yippee!
My entire mood has improved because of the promise of spring - warmer temps and more sunshine! Plus, with my first shot done, hubby will get his 2nd next week, we have re-scheduled the vacation we had to cancel last year. I'm seeing light at the end of this long long tunnel.
So far - on track with exercise, tracking, and calories. Zero pass days used.14 -

So I decided after reading an article on MFP to create a day of meals I really love. Then repeat that each day for this week. Everything fits in my percentages and I have my perfect picks. So far so good, and let me say, dang easy. Main ingredients are prepared and weighed out for the week. The rest are quick adds. Lol, I know this isn't for everyone, but I do love easy. Might push it into the next week, or change one of the meals out. Still danger daily for the week.14 -

@mojo2325 that's a really good information! Right now I feel energetic enough to cook my meals, exercise, look after the pets, and do daily tasks, but I'm always worried about ending up getting all tired ( this happened couple of times before and I did give up), I never thought about deciding a whole week meals beforehand. I don't mind repeating a week but not same meals everyday. This also helps with the time consumed just to think what to eat every day.
Goodnight to you all π€π€.6 -

Looking fwd. to your book π recommendations. Right now, lifting allows me to listen to podcasts, because it's less dynamic and with no surprize elements, as the HIIT videos are! Double gains πͺ, hehe.10 -

I wanted to get a PR of <35 min by the end of the month. Today, I managed to do the workout in 34:44 so the new PR goal is <30 min without sacrificing proper form.
As of today, I've swung kettlebells 1,000 times for the month. Since my shoulders are already super tight, I realize that much upper body stretching is going to be required π¬ Tomorrow's a "rest day" so that'll be on the menu.Since my 40 lb KB is taking some getting used to, I've worked out my expected progression using a drop set approach with my 25 lb KB. The goal is for the last three sessions to use the 40 lb KB exclusively.
The number in yellow indicates the number of minutes taken to complete the workout that day
