I'm 54 years old and looking for a good support group of women. I am trying to lose 50+ pounds and get in better shape. I have some health issues that may limit the kind of exercises that I can do, but I'm not going to use them as an excuse to be sedentary anymore. I have been walking more and doing some low-impact aerobics but I need to include some strength training.
I lost my DH last February to brain cancer, so the last part of 2019 and all of 2020 were pretty much blah! I just didn't have the mind or the energy to focus on me. I mostly stayed busy helping take care of my granddaughter and doing day to day tasks for the rest of 2020.
Anyway, I got back on MFP in January and I just found this group. So, I just wanted to give a brief bio just to introduce myself and let you all know about some of my goals. I look forward getting to know everyone!

Hi and welcome! I am so sorry for your loss. This is a nice group and I enjoy logging in each day. Feel free to add me if you are looking for more fitness pals. I'm 55 and I wanted to lose 50 pounds. I've lost 35 of it and am struggling with this last bit!1
