I joined a step challenge for the week with some friends and the way its motivated me or maybe shamed me into working harder is insane. Though every single muscle in my legs is feeling the hell out of this.
Good job,it will get easier 😄1 -
Hi,how is everyone doing ?
I had my first covid jab yesterday morning.Slept well & no side effects as yet.As we are still in lockdown I have been trying different exercises at home.I did enjoy skipping with a rope but unfortunately due to a health problem I've been advised against doing high impact exercise which is a shame.🙁 .I have found a great dance workout on YouTube if anyone like me who loves dancing & learning new steps.I will put the link on here. The good thing is that we are allowed to walk with 1 other person from a different household now.Walking is something I do every day so will be good to have a friend for company.7 -

Yay about your 1st vaccine dose. I oddly also got mine yesterday and so far, so good. Although I did have a headache all day afterwards.
As for high impact I also cannot do it while I get my knee back into shape. So I did find these really low impact but oddly fun dance chair fuzion workouts. It sounds insane and like you wouldn't work up a sweat but oh my god how they exhaust me.2 -

Nice to see a move on the scale as I hit a little plateau for a few weeks.
Participated in this week’s ‘swap challenge’. Liking the impact it may have had! Swapped out my afternoon protein bar for my usual breakfast of Greek yogurt and swapped out breakfast to give intermittent fasting a try. I sure enjoyed having more time in the morning, one less meal to prep, and being able to eat more at lunch and dinner. This might be something I stick with.7 -

I was on vacation last week and consumed a lot more food and drink than normal. I expected it, but apologies to the team - you all are doing such a great job!4 -

Kind of shocked that I lost weight this week. As my husband stated above, we went on vacation ton the mountains, so I had fast food twice this week while we were driving. We normally only have fast food once every couple of months.5 -

I strained my back a few days ago so not so many steps5 -
I love hearing about people getting their vaccines and feeling good. I hope we can all get to the place again soon where we are meeting up with friends and getting back to 'normal'.
I finally got in a workout last night. After a week and a half long migraine that kept me very sedentary, I really needed that.4 -

Yay!!! 3lb.
Followed the principles of Fast 800 but as I have to eat low fat I had a few more cals! Boosted intake, when at work all day with a protein shake & had a few skinny lattes in the week.
Macros were closest to my goals: ever, I tried to eat between 7am & 7pm- not quite but an improvement (I normally breakfast at 6:30 then have evening meal about 22:30-21:00 when hubbie gets in, thankfully he's trying to get shifts alteted slightly. Trying to change my sleep pattern too, so aiming for 22:00, some nights I went before then, hoping to be up to exercise at 06:00 I managed 3 out 5 & did the other sessions later.
I am so happy with this & feel better in myself, I'm fired up to do again and 🙏 pray it's not a fluke!6 -

I've now kind of mashed it out with some extra cals. Had a good week. I think I was eating too late & therefore having too many snacks (within cal allowance) so trying to do the time restricted eating - not following strictly but with a 3lb loss (possibly more as I lost plot last week & had meltdown) I feel motivated. AND if gives me tighther restrictions when things plateau or closer to target.
Thank you x2
