I know there's a lot of cozy mysteries with cats, can you think of any that you really liked that had them? I don't know why but I'd love a cute one with witches and cats (not bad witches though!)

You knew I'd respond to this one! 😺

When I was younger, I really enjoyed the "Cat Who" series by Lilian Jackson Braun and the "Mrs. Murphy" books by Rita Mae and Sneaky Pie Brown.

I've mentioned this series before, but I love the comedy of the Jaine Austen mysteries by Laura Levine, featuring Jaine's cat Prozac.

I'm almost certain there is a series with a "witch" and cats, but I can't remember the author. I'll do some sleuthing and see if I can find it.

That's right, as soon as I'm caught up I'll check those out! I haven't read any of those that I remember but recall the covers, maybe my mom had them at one point! I haven't read the Jane Austin mysteries for sure, do you recommend them first?

Kathy, yes, I definitely recommend Laura Levine's ("Jaine Austen") series. They are so funny! I need to catch up myself. I was reading them as soon as they came out, but then life got in the way and I got sidetracked.

I love the "The Joe Grey Mysteries" by Shirley Rousseau Murphy. It is a 21 book series. I am on book 18 currently.

@Katmary71, did you ever try the Laura Levine series? I've missed a few and want to catch up.
