Hi everyone! I don't have any particular plans for this group, just figured we could talk books and maybe read a few together. I jokingly used that picture as a placeholder and I keep trying to change it and it won't work, I've had the worst technology luck this last year so it's actually pretty funny! Sorry for the middle…
Tell us a little about yourself and what you like to read!
I know there's a lot of cozy mysteries with cats, can you think of any that you really liked that had them? I don't know why but I'd love a cute one with witches and cats (not bad witches though!)
I just finished the 5th in an urban fantasy series, I'm either going to read the 6th or start Flight Girls.
Kathy, please feel free to delete this if it doesn't meet your standards. ;) Long ago, when the Delphi Book Forums were a popular place to be (how I miss those days!), there was a fun topic about "Literary Lovers." I saw our group owner, Kathy, posted about planning to read "The Beck Diet Solution." Since we are on My Fitness Pal, I thought maybe we should have a thread to discuss health/diet-related books. It doesn't have to be just physical health/diet though. I'm also thinking of mental health, anxiety/depression, etc. One book…
Do uou give it 100 pages, one chapter, or do you always finish a book once started?
I'm listening to "The Friendship List" by Susan Mallery: https://friendshiplist.susanmallery.com/ Not too long ago I listened to her Mischief Bay series of books and really enjoyed them.
Didn't one of you recently read this? I saw it on the library app and read it yesterday, it's about a beautiful movie star who gets in a car crash and is badly burned. It was entertaining but I thought the ending was a little TOO perfect.
