One more week until the end of April!3

@Chinkiri Thanks for the inspiration!!
I hope you have a good Saturday.
By the way, I will spend Saturday, Sunday and Monday getting ready to travel. I'll be over at the stable in the early morning loading and unloading Coco in the horse trailer. One cannot wait until the day of travel to expect him to willingly move himself into that metal can.
I worked with him for 90 minutes last night and he loaded and unloaded with increasing cooperation.
Rose is my helper and she is a very supportive friend and wife.
@UAC Team, What will you be doing this weekend?7 -
@RangerRickL Jumping in for you is keeping me on track! I understand preparations for travel - and I have never had to transport a horse! I'll be preparing to go to Toulouse to examine for three days. I have to re-organise appointments, make sure my partner, who has Alzheimer's, is looked after and understands enough to manage while I am away. He has home help coming in Monday - Wednesday, I have organised for him to go on a long walk with friends on Sunday afternoon. We're seeing his memory therapist together when I get back. I have paid his debts at the chemist's. I have ordered him the balls so he can play a weekly game of petanque every Tuesday. I will go and check the delivery drop-off point this morning with him, to make sure he can pick them up on Monday. He's helping me finish cleaning my terrace this afternoon.
Just pray you or your loved ones will never get this awful disease.12 -

Posting early this evening – I’ve given up trying to log my food.
We had a good day out – all four grandchildren and the two mums and me. I was on my feet for over 4 hours but mostly strolling and standing watching the kids. My daughter brought a big picnic for all of us – her daughter has coeliac disease so we often have to bring our own food. So, I gave up the idea of trying to log the food – there was a lot of pastry – and just enjoyed it.
So, exercise – yes, lots of walking and a short bike ride after I got home.
Tracking – no
Calories – don’t know, don’t care!
Saturday has been a good start to the weekend.

@lesdarts180 I'm really happy you had a great time and hopefully you'll have plenty more in the future.
I had family gathering today, so exercised a little over 30 minutes, we played a card game called dixit ( https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dixit_(card_game) ).We played for hours. My rest of the weekend should be focused on exercising.
Goodnight 🤗💜

I'm meeting a friend tomorrow at the Cloisters and then we are going out to lunch, so likely tomorrow will be a pass. It will be so lovely to see this friend, though, as I haven't seen him since our school went remote last year but now we are both vaccinated!!4 -
I've missed checking in for the past couple of days--both pass days, which I think takes me up to 6, maybe 7. (Either way, I've been out of the winner's circle for a while.) I tracked my food and stayed close to or under my calorie budget, but no exercise either day. Today I got back on track with a long walk and lots of yard work.
I've been thinking about something @RangerRickL said earlier this month about adjusting our goals. When I started the UAC in January, my goal was to lose the ~10 pounds I've been gaining and losing for many years. I hit that goal--and then, almost immediately, I set a new, lower goal. But I never stopped to ask myself why I was doing that.My current weight is in the healthy range for my age, if toward the top of that range. Overall, though, I'm very healthy.
So I'm contemplating whether I want to shift my focus to maintaining my current weight. It wouldn't hurt to lose a few more pounds, but maybe making a habit of paying attention to what I'm eating--instead of pushing toward further weight loss--is a good enough reason to be accountable to myself.11 -
✅ exercised 45 minutes
❌ calories were NOT under
✅ tracked everything ate and drank
Well that’s now -2 pass days (a total of five over this month). I had a feeling I’d be over today, if I had the energy I would have repeated this morning’s workout and then I’d be under.
Oh well, I’ll try again tomorrow. Good luck to everyone5 -
April 24 - pass day #2
Exercised? Yes 43 min spin
Calories? No
Tracked? Tes5 -
Yes, yes and yes
8 mile hike outside at local state park.4 -
Yes x3
Exercise was a walk and house cleaning.
I tend to eat more calories later in the day with dinner, and today was definitely a top-heavy day with fewer earlier and more later.
@pamjsa Congratulations! You could always decide to maintain for a month or two and then reasses how you're feeling going forward after you've had time to see how it feels5 -

Today was the first day in two weeks that Rose and I were able to sit down this afternoon and have a relaxed chat.
Coco, easily walked onto his horse trailer today. In fact, he was in there for 20 minutes; unloaded for a 10 minute walk around and then back into the trailer for 10 more minutes. The "practice' of loading him is what allows him to adjust to the experience. We experience the same thing. We are comfortable within some daily routine zone. Whenever we are pushed beyond our normal boundaries, we experience fear and discomfort.
My daily post:
Exercise: over an hour of walking
Calories: under my limit
Tracking; ok4 -
@pamsja Know thyself! I appreciate the way that you are thinking. Do what works for you!!!

I incorrectly also posted today's post yesterday too, Oh well! I always start reading the UAC team member's posts that have been posted for past days, then as I work forward in time, I do get confused about which day I am reading.

3 YES day.
Safe travels @RangerRickL3 -
Pass #3 since we went out for happy hour appetizers. I'm sure the calories were too high in spite of having an extra 35 minute walk in the afternoon in addition to my 30 minutes on the treadmill in the morning.4

Weird, but I really wanted to eat put at lunchtime. Took me awhile to realize it was because I was REALLY hungry. Ate my usual. Everything fine again!4 -
Update. Pass day yesterday. It was a bit suspicious 240 kcal for 20 min planks. Both mfp and App have the same estimation. Today I checked with my watch and it was only 45 kcal. Although today's session was shorter. It means that one ice cream was too much yesterday. 1 pass left3
