I was so happy when @MaltedTea brought up a very important and never before daily-opening-post subject: Fiber!!!
When most people 'diet' they often neglect to include fiber in their daily intake.
I am a personal fan of the unlovely dried plum, commonly known as the prune. It's gluten free.
Fiber, also known as roughage, is the part of plant-based foods (grains, fruits, vegetables, nuts, and beans) that the body can't break down. It passes through the body undigested, keeping your digestive system clean and healthy, easing bowel movements, and flushing cholesterol and harmful carcinogens out of the body.11 -
In my experience, I have never needed more than 100 kcal of prunes, but results may vary.6

@Summerskier Thanks for the encouragement, it felt glorious despite the snow storm! Today, instead of a speed run, I resumed my usual exercise of sprinting between connecting trains - unfortunately, German punctuality does not apply to public transportationπ6 -
An adequate day. Under calories and I did warm up at Jiu Jitsu class. Then I felt nauseous so had to sit out the rest. I blame it on the flu vaccine I got this morning. Also got a bunch of good medical test results (and the associated points on my insurance program for the good results). Was pleased to note that even though my weight is slightly above the required level for bmi, my waist is below 80cm which they consider balances out the slightly increased weight (it takes into account those who have bigger muscles etc). Only one I didnβt get good results for was blood pressure but it was only slightly high and Iβve been told it could be masks. I get good results when I test at home most of the time.
Some work stress to deal with even though Iβm not there but Iβve set aside tomorrow morning to deal with the stuff I need to do and process the emotions involved then Iβll be good to go!!!6 -

2nd Pfizer jab today so will be taking it easy for 24 to 48 hrs. I actually had a reaction (my heart started racing) and had to wait another 30 minutes before I felt safe to drive home. This time the wait was CRAZY.. total took 3 hrs. 2 more than last time. I guess that's good that everyone is getting vaccinated tho!!!
Off to see my good Bud Bandit now so I am sure all will be right once I get some horse nickers and snuffles on board.9 -
