I have started the process for approval for conversion surgery. I was banded 3/2012 at 5'6" 292 lbs. I was able to get down to around 210-215 lbs with my band until I had complications. After an esophageal dilation my band has been empty and I have since gained almost all weight back. Looking for feedback from those who have had the conversion surgery re: what to expect, reflux, able to take pills. Thank you!
