Yes x 3. I'm not a fan of water but I manage to drink 4/5 cups daily by adding an fruit flavored herbal tea bag.
Thanks for the link @Winner_in_Life, good info to ponder.3 -

Water
One kidney...so I do what I’m told be kidney transplant team...
“Drink 1 oz of water per day for every kilogram of weight.”
70 kg, so I drink a minimum of 4 pints & a cup day. When exercising harder, or really hot weather, or eating saltier food, I naturally drink more.
Also veggies & fruit have a lot of water, so@SummerSkier you likely DON’T need as much water with your diet & other fluids.
I drink very diluted tea sometimes and I DO count that in my water intake. I never force water of I don’t feel like it.
Final point: it is best to drink water gradually throughout the day (and night) if you’re willing.
Reason for water: our body is doing tons of chemical reactions to convert what we eat into what our bodies need. Water (2H’s & an O) are ESSENTIAL for those chemical reactions!!! Once I knew that, I had no problem drinking water spaced through the day!

@Katiecan2021 Going to these cities is not as exciting as you think! Often all I see is the station, then walk or take public transport to the hotel and then to the examination venue and back! However, I often try and go first thing in the morning, so I have all day to explore. It's not been possible under lockdown, but it looks like I might have some time after I finish examining tomorrow and curfew doesn't start until 9pm now, so I will go into Bordeaux. I'll take my camera!
On the water issue: On exam days I get through a liter of water, but when I am home I drink mainly tea and coffee, although I do drink sparkling water, especially now I have given up the wine in the evening. My sodastream is missing an essential bit, so I will order that today. I agree with @SummerSkier that, if your pee is the right colour, there's no need to go overboard on the water!2 -

"Never let your failures go to your heart or your successes go to your head."
Today was not a good day. I couldn't sleep last night, so I got up around 1am to make some hot chamomile tea. I ended up snacking as well! It was only about 360 calories, so I really thought that I could "recover" from that. I entered it in my food diary as part of my early breakfast, but the day went downhill from there. I ended up getting less than 4 hours sleep before having to get up for work.
My dear friend's 52 year old son passed away after a week sedated and on a ventilator. He had a cardiac arrest last Wed night and has been in ICU since then. It was not COVID related, but possibly drug related. He was her only child. Needless to say, she's distraught and devastated beyond words.
No exercise, and I did go over my calorie goal for the day by about 700. But those things just aren't important in the grand scheme of things today. Tell your loved ones how very much you love them today. No one is guaranteed tomorrow.

You are always welcome, @donna25trinity !
Everyone is different. I had two obese parents & one loved salty fats & the other massive sweet tooth. I’m not sure if the salt & sugar do something biologically to me or if they reactivate lifelong habits or both, but it is a pattern that repeats & the major thing I battle in maintenance. A small price to pay to be normal after 50 years!!
The Big idea is to get so in touch with yourself that you identify the threats to wt loss or maintenance & then try different solutions until you find a successful one!!
With the right mindset, it can be fun!
Hugs,

Ran in the uncomfortably warm weather. Didn’t fall over. Considering it a win.
I felt this in my soul. I get you.
As to water intake, some days I'm better at it than others. Generally, I drink til I run "near clear" And, for 2021, I've limited my coffee intake to one cup per day. 🤷🏾♀️
