@RangerRickL I'm sorry to hear about her trip being cancelled. But the rise in cases of COVID is definitely a concern... I hope she's not too disappointed.3 -

@Mrs_Hoffer it looks like there may be an opening with a host couple (Columbian) who live in El Paso, Texas. There is a language school there that my daughter is checking out. My daughter, Diana, is fluent in Spanish, so she can speak directly with both the school and the host couple.
Thanks for your concern!!

@Crosbinium I apologize for my belated Happy Birthday!!2

Yes x 3 both yesterday and today.
I've spent this month of May trying to figure out how maintenance will work for me. At my first weigh-in, I was up about a pound; at my second (yesterday), I was down slightly more than that. I know it's not realistic to expect that my weight will stay exactly the same from week to week, but I'm trying to decide how much of a range is "normal." Any thoughts? In the old days, I gave myself a 5-pound range and figured I was fine if I stayed within it. That feels a little more flexible than I'm comfortable with right now.7 -

(I go nuts with nuts most times, trying to build a good habit this month. Counting the number of "nuts" free days. Did they say 21 days to form a habit?) Well, I am almost there.

Yes, yes, and yes. A good day.
Got in a good workout at the gym, and had 2 glasses of my homemade peach wine. First alcohol in a couple of months... I have certainly become a cheap drunk!6 -
So three yes for today even though I got on the bike at 10 pm for a 20 minute ride to not use another pass. Food all tracked and meeting goals.
@Pamjsa I started "official" maintenance on March and have had a lot of stumbles since then, but I keep getting back on track, which is a positive change for me. As for weight, my lowest to my highest since March 1 is a 5.2 lb range, with the majority of those weights within a 2 lb range. I still have lots of learning and practice to go for maintenance to become natural.5 -

17th May
Slightly chaotic day, but it's a 3 x Yes.
Lots of exercise, at least 60 minutes walking, partly because when I got to Paris, lots of Metro stations were closed and I had to walk a lot.
Calories: way under. I didn't get to my hotel until 11pm, due to closure of Metro stations and a cancelled train from Montpellier, and by that time I just wasn't hungry any more and too tired. MFP refused to close ...
Logged everything I had at home.
Working today, home late tonight.5 -

Used Pass #1
Still have 2 passes4 -
Used up my pass days for the month and then some this weekend. Logged and walked, but went over on calories. No regrets, though. First weekend being fully vaccinated and had family over for the first time in over a year.
Today was a 3 YES day, barely. Yummy leftovers are hard to eat on moderation. Back to the gym tomorrow and hopefully back on track.5 -

Exercise : hmmmmmm, about 8 hours worth? Started the day with a 4 mile walk and then spent 7 more hours In the garden. Everything is planted, compost is spread, leaves are almost all laid down. I’m exhausted, but in a good way.
Tracked: yes
Under cals: yes
Pass days used: 2/3
Hi @biketheworld!
I think 6 weeks total...1 week quarantine...2 weeks with us...2-3 at with his wife’s family & friends.
I realized today how much happier I was just knowing he was on the same continent!
Thanks!5 -

The school cancelled due to sharply rising cases of virus and overwhelmed health care. Most countries cannot get access to sufficient supplies of Covid vaccines.
Our daughter is looking for alternative home stay programs within the United States.
Awww Rick, I’m sorry to hear this. I do know there are many great nature-based programs in the US.0 -
Wish you better @MadisonMolly2017 and enjoy your son's company!1
