Springtime weather in the northern hemisphere is a great time to get outside and do something special!

I’m back. Drove through to Cape Town to fetch my parents from my brother this week. 800km trip each way and I drove the whole thing. Despite the bad storms I drove through on the way there, that was easier than my dad’s back seat driving advice. Anyway, I did get to catch up with some friends and see my brother’s new house and do a bit of shopping.
Plus my coach challenged my excuses so I’m now competing in a Jiu Jitsu competition next Saturday! it’s a good thing to help get my focus back on track and motivate me to get on track with getting to my goal weight so I can fight in my preferred division.
Plan to be Back on track today with our three goals, starting with a morning run!10 -

Hubby got himself a kebab and hot chips tonight while i ordered subway. Now dnt get me wrong i wld hve much preferred the kebab and chips lol but im so glad i got subway instead... Happy mothers day for tomz guys! Im really looking forward to it. Xox6 -

Tiring day today but managed to stay on track.
Mothers Day tomorrow and visiting my mother. May end up being a pass day as I am not going to expressly try stay in budget.

8th May
On the mend. Stomach still a bit wobbly, but I managed to eat all my 1200 calories, albeit in small quantities of easily digestible food. Still feel very tired, another bad night didn't help, but I did manage another little 25 minute walk. Logged everything, so it was a 3 x Yes day.
Found myself exchanging messages with another sleepless UAC in the same time zone, more or less, at 5.20 this morning, funny!9 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? yes and did out yard work for over an hour clearing up the mess that resembles my back yard (wet leaves, weeds, etc... dead branches) Now I am exhausted but happy to see it looking better and the mesquitos are hating me.

Hmm, the weather was miserable so I didn’t run but I did walk around to feed my friend’s dogs later so I got some exercise in. Logged all my food and was way under. It was fight night for our Captain (he won) and I went to watch with some of the other girls. I made soup and there was salad and chicken and popcorn. I stuck to soup and popcorn cos they were so delicious.
And now I have soup in the freezer as well. That is one good thing about winter. This one was butternut chickpea. I do a tomato lentil as well and I want to try a mushroom one. Weirdly all my soups end up being vegan cos coconut cream is just so delicious in them.7 -

Exercise: YES - Besides normal activity around the house and with the kids, I went out of my way to walk around the house nonstop for 20 minutes because of this challenge. Since it's a rest day, no runs or other workouts today though.

Today was that busy day and finally planting my but on the couch. Planning paid off. it went 94% to plan and just adjusted the other 5%. Somehow ended up solidly under for the day. Anyhow, yes x 3 for today.6
